“We recently had Pete Kernosky's Celebration of Life/Memorial at Aftershock! Sharon was great and did all she could to make sure that all went well. She helped with suggestions when I needed them! The bartenders that worked that day/night were attentive and quick to respond to any questions we had, help any time asked, and personalities were great! Given that this place was one of Pete's favorites to "run" to for fish fry, I am glad it went sooo well! I believe he would approve! A great place for a fish fry btw! Mary Jane“

“Crazy place. A chick on corner of bar passed out i think from drugs as she walked into the bathroom fine, her bf carried her out and placed her in a stool then leaned her on the bar . The guy that was with her arguing with the bar tender about if they can buy vodka with an EBT benefits card. I've seen movies with less drama in them. The food was exceptional, and the rich history of the place added to the experience. Despite how busy it was, the service was remarkably attentive. The burgers & wraps were among the best in town, and the fish fry was absolutely delicious. I’m honestly disappointed I didn’t discover this establishment sooner. While that was disappointing on such an important day, I cannot say enough good things about how the business handled it. They were incredibly professional, kind, and took full responsibility right away. They issued a full refund and even gave us a gift card, which was completely unexpected and very appreciated. Mistakes happen, but outstanding customer service like this is rare. We truly appreciate how they handled the situation and look forward to visiting in the future. “any place that pushes for people to come in DURING A BLIZZARD where plows are even pulled off highways due to visibility and we received around 30 inches of SNOW in ONE DAY is a crap place to go. we went there once and it was not a place that was very inviting, rest assured we and other will now never go back. cars stuck in roads but het illegally ride your snowmobile in... great business practice. hope you paid for all fines and towing to sell those few pizzas and drinks“

The staff gave each and everyone detailed attention although they were busy. Josi handled some unruly individuals looking to start trouble in a professional manner. “We visited this restaurant on the advice of my friend's co-worker and were not disappointed. The prices for the food are excellent and the serving sizes large. We had the fish and shrimp, tenderloin and shrimp, and the fried chicken. All were cooked perfectly. The side cole slaw was excellent in that it had a nice flavor and was creamy. The french fries were crispy and had a light coating. The potato salad, according to my friend, was very good. We plan to visit again to try other entrees for a comparison to tonight's meal.“
