“Everything about this place is amazing from the decor to the service, and especially the food! I had the Birria dinner and it was delicious, best birria I've had in town. I also had the horchata to drink, it was delicious, rich and creamy. Our server, Yasir, was amazing. He was very kind and patient with us while providing excellent service.“

“We’ve just moved to Wisconsin from Texas and decided to stay in Wausau for the night. The pictures looked good and it was close by our hotel. We were the only table in there at 9 on a Friday, but let me tell you… this was by far the best Mexican food we have had since leaving Texas in June. Wait staff was attentive, food was impeccable and I liked that it was low key! 10/10 will be back!“

“One of my more favorite Wisconsin bars to walk into in recent years. Just outside of Wausau as the country starts. Just looks and feels right inside and very much more your dad's bar than a modern a bar. Food is ok but if you like a lot, you'll get it.“
“Best place in town for real authentic tacos and other Mexican cuisine... Love love love their tacos and tamales, but what really did it for me was the Esquites! If only it wasn't made with sweet corn, then it would be really like you get in Mexico (I know that they don't have access to that, and it's ok). Other than that .. It is as authentic as you're gonna get, right down to the postre... Pastel de Tres Leches!! Riquísimo! Bravo!!? ??*Edit* Nothing has changed as far as my opinion goes. Went there today and as always very well attended. What more food you ask for.? ❤️??*UPDATE* Quesabirria tacos con caldo de birria de lado.
