Restaurantji unveils New London's must-visit Mexican dining spots.
“I am from Austin Texas originally so I am a knowledgeable critic of Tex Mex. When we decided to go for dinner at a Mexican restaurant in a small town in Wisconsin I was skeptical but happily the food and service at El Tequila Mexican restaurant was very good. The restaurant is located in downtown New London. There is a bar with seating and a number of booths. It was very loud due to a party in the booth next to us and the decor shows a bit of wear but the ambiance is okay. Service was prompt and our food came out right away. Obviously not cooked to order but still good. I had a combo plate (two plates actually) which consisted of a chili relleno, a taco, guacamole, a tamale, and the ubiquitous beans and rice. There was a lot of food. There were also a very good salsa and chips. I had a margarita which was okay-more like limeade with a bit of tequila. All in all everyone in my group was happy with our experience and would return.“
“Hospitality 100 percent. But I have "continued" to be splashed by the tea dispenser for the last 4 - 5 months. Employees insist management refuses to replace the equipment as its location isn't a high income. All they provide are used equipment throughout this Taco Bell.Very sad, but typical big business attitude.“
“Jeannette ordered candied jalapeños made in Texas for me. They are absolutely delicious . They tasted like the ones we had in a fancy restaurant in Texas. The price was cheaper than Amazon. Very pleased with the service, product and price.“
