The Lobster Rissoto was delicious and very reasonably priced considering the amount of lobster chunks in it. I also ordered an old fashioned which was quite decent. We ate at Char prior to a show at the Grand Theater - a convenient location for dinner ahead of the event. We had the lobster risotto and teriyaki salmon with wasabi mashed potatoes. The potatoes were an excellent accompaniment to the salmon. Our server, Cassidy, while stretched thin with a busy dinning room, did an excellent job. It did take a while for bar and food service, but we had anticipated that. Overall a pleasurable dinner.

We dined a little after 5 for a 7:30 concert at The Grand Theatre. The restaurant was quickly filled with guests who were there for a variety of reasons. Our waitress,although young, was very knowledgeable about the menu and despite being very busy, she was quite attentive. The food was very good! We shared a bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer and had a pork shank entrée with spatzle and a lobster risotto.
