Very tasty food. The deep fried broccoli appetizer was very good. Plain decor, but attentive service and good food.

The food was very very good! The spring rolls with tofu were fantastic. I had lunch which was quick, delicious and enough for another meal. They have a full bar, two sides of parking lots and friendly service. The coconut water is amazing! I would go back just for the spring rolls. Absolutely lovely, and the decor is welcoming. Would be a great place to gather with friends or family and just enjoy!

We had a party of 3 and was a first time for all of us. The exterior of the building has you wondering and then you step inside and are transported into a very warm decor...a great place to calm yourself, before you wolf down some amazing food.
I tried Spicy Basil with tofu. It was loaded with perfectly fried tofu and the sauce was a delicious blend of chilies, garlic, and basil. My friends got Pad Thai which looked great (I'll try that next time) and she was pleased with it also. My other friend got a special, some kind of pork belly and quail egg stew/soup. It looked fantastic and he took the leftovers home so he could savor it one more time.
The spring rolls were huge. I prefer smaller ones as an appetizer not just a monster filled with rice noodles. Still, they were good. As a person sensitive to food additives I can say this place is safe! I didn't feel like any of the food was using any kind of nasty preservative or anything artificial. The first experience was very good so we all said we would come back with family or friends at some point in the future. See you soon!

Been on business trip here in Appleton, WI for a month and this is easily the best meal I’ve had on this trip. Dinner and dessert both awesome. Service, couldn’t ask for anything better. Even the complimentary water was coconut infused. What!? Who does that? So happy you do. So happy I tried it and refilled a million times.

Delicious and authentic food with lots of variety! I've had Thai, Lao and Vietnamese food all over the country and world for that matter. Finding this little gem right here in Appleton has definitely made an impression on me. I highly recommend!! Great service and atmosphere as well.

We live about couple of hours away but we always come to Basil Cafe whenever we're in town. On this visit, we ordered calamari, egg rolls, beef pho, pad thai and avocado bobba tea. We loved all food and drinks except for the egg rolls... we're Asians so we have had all sorts of egg rolls, and this one is underwhelming. Meanwhile the yummy calamari came with sweet chili sauce, but this sauce we usually pair with egg rolls. So we asked for vinegar instead as dipping for calamari...which made it taste better. It would have been better if the vinegar came with spices like onions and peppers, but we deemed it was too much to ask so we just settled for the plain vinegar.:) Overall, it was a delightful experience and we had a food coma after. LOL! We were so famished we forgot to take pictures too!
