I was visiting a relative in Appleton and was surprised to find this place. The food was really good and they had craft cocktails. They serve a coconut water which is delicious! I wish I loved closer so I could go back!

Dont get a table by the cash register, table we got was a bit annoying because all the pick up order people keep passing by us, in and out. Coconut infused water is delicious, we ordered chicken fried rice and seafood pho. This last happens to have meat balls, which I dont know how that makes it 'seafood pho'. Fried rice was pretty good. Pho, no so much very plain, flavorless broth. Picture below is without the garnishes, they only provide mint, been sprouts, half a lime, fresh jalapenos, and sriracha and a sweet brown sauce. (No fried garlic, or crush chili sauce) I asked the server for the oil chili sauce. She forgot about it, had to ask again she was busy on her cellphone. I've been here before, fried noodles and pad thai is amazing. But wont go back for pho unfortunately.

This is our favorite restaurant in the area. The building's exterior may not be too appealing, but the decor inside is great. They have coconut-flavored water, which I like. My wife and I always get the same dishes: Pad Kee Mao and Laad Na. We eat family style and really enjoy them. Sometimes I order their delicious hot sauce to increase the heat level. This is a great place!

Really amazing the first time I went (last season) when I got pad thai and curry. Sad the pork buns and nutella dessert aren't around anymore. Service was phenomenal, food was meh besides the bang bang broccoli (crispy, tasty, not super saucy). Laad Na (beef) and Mee Krob (shrimp) were ok but bland. The food came super fast but SO HOT (temperature, def not spice) I burned my tongue and it hurts a couple hours later. Willing to go back to get the staples again that are always good but a little hesitant after this last time.
They are amazing! Always consistent customer service & food! This is our go to restaurant & our kids love the food too. They do a wonderful job!

The Basil Cafe is about an hour from where we live, so we only get there about once a month. But it is always well worth it. You can order pretty much anything on the menu as a vegan dish, but I've found that the most flavorful dishes are the ones that don't have to be adapted. Things like their homemade wide rice noodles are delish, as are their curries. We also love a number of the appetizers, especially the Bang Bang Broccoli.
I should also let you know that the staff here is terrific. They are always attentive and with smiles on their faces. We miss the restaurant when they close for a long stretch during the summer, but it is always a joy to go back when they are open again!
