Did not go in. The outside of the building is in such sad shape, dirty, in need of repair, overgrown bushes, handicapped parking signs that the wording was completely worn off, etc. Made me wonder what the kitchen looked like so we did not even chance it. APPEARANCES ARE EVERYTHING!

Great Service & Excellent Food!!!! Create your own burritos were huge and full of flavor! Would definitely return next time we're in the area.

The ambiance is a little off because it feels like a sports bar, but the food is good; they have a lot of options on the menu, so maybe check it ahead of time so you're not overwhelmed by the options! I ordered a grilled chicken chimichanga, but the kitchen messed up and made it with beef instead. Server was nice and offered to have them remake it, and they also took half off the price for the mistake.

The food was authentic and fresh! Server was very pleasant and took the order right away - we were just stopping in for lunch on our way up north. I thought the prices were reasonable and we had enough to take with us!

Great service. We had a few mishaps. But the server was so amazing. I wish I could remember her name. Salsa was great. Margaritas did the trick. Walking distance to our hotel, even better.

Expensive and food was just okay at best. Menu is huge, should probably focus on doing fewer dishes and doing them better.

although the chime was good, the beans and rice were lukewarm at best. ate it as the waitress wasn't around and I didn't want to wait. I was not offered a lunch menu even though I arrived about 11:30. it was my first time there so didn't think to ask as I was only given one menu. the chimi was 11.99 and I think it was considerably less at lunch which I noticed on my phone as I signed up for their email list. was not told about the lunch special which I also saw on my phone after.also, I had one glass of ice tea. I asked for a refill but was told they were brewing a new batch and it would be about 10 minutes. really, for$3.29 a glass I got the last of the tea brewed when?, seeing this was so early.I will try it here again because as I said the chimi I was good. next time I'll know what to ask for.

We stopped in with a group of 15 on a Friday evening and were very happy with the food as well as the excellent service...Couldn't have asked for a better scenario!!

Just had lunch here and I can’t express how awful it was. Bland food. Overpriced slop. I wouldn’t call this Mexican food. The burrito had canned refried beans, very little filling besides chicken and cheese is inferior to Taco Bell. For $15.99 I expected it would e smothered or at least come with lettuce/tomato and sour cream on the side. It was awful. We also had the taco plate. The meat was dry (upgraded to shredded beef and grilled chicken) and the cheese was bland. No pico. No salsa. Trust me, this place is terrible. Save your money and go to Taco Bell. It’s much better.

We had a fantastic meal at this restaurant. We came expecting tacos (Taco Tuesday) and instead got great meals. We arrived at 8:30, 30 minutes before closing. Rather than telling us to find another place to eat, they served us hot Fajitas that were delicious. Their parking lot was not empty but still filled with customers. All the signs said this was a good place, and they were right! If you find yourself in Appleton and are looking for something good to eat along with a courteous staff and a great price, this is the place for you! We would definitely eat here again.

Food and serves were great.. we mix the queso and the beans with our chips and it was amazing. I would highly recommend El Agave and will be back. My street tacos with steak were not skimpy and you had a great amount of lime to go with the Mexican style..

The food was great and the staff was friendly. I am a picky eater, and they were so accommodating. We tried the Mexican sushi and it was fantastic. It was an explosion of flavor and texture. Highly recommend this place.

We began our meal with the standard chips and salsa, which came with one dish of salsa & one dish of refried beans. The chips were crunchy, their salsa was homemade and was only slightly spicy and very tasty - not too hot for someone who prefers less spicy salsa but just enough to add flavor. The refried beans were a nice addition, we thought. We ordered a double steak fajita dinner with drinks. The fajitas were very good, though probably could've used maybe just another minute or two on the veggies for that awesome char. They were definitely done, with char, just could've used that extra minute. The margarita was delicious and the tap beer was fresh. The service was detail oriented, very friendly without being obnoxious or creepy. Prices were moderate and fair. All in all, we enjoyed a delicious meal and a fun dining experience. We would definitely return.

Greeted and seated fast. However it went down hill fast. Had to explain our order to waitress 3 times. Yes it still arrived wrong. A simple enjoy and she walked away. Waitress asked if need refill our drinks. Came back with water only we had soda. Told manager as we left about poor service. He did not appear to care. Worst part 6 meat and cheese tacos was $30. Never again.

We ordered for pick up and though it took longer than the "15-30 minutes" the food was good and we got complimentary chips and salsa!
