Christianos Pizza

The pizza was good, not great. If you choose to eat here, do yourself a favor and don't sit at the bar. The staff are incredibly immature and have not figured out that they need to take their conversations out of customers' earshot. One employee said another employee looked "like a Make-A-Wish kid." There was a couple sitting two seats down from me - can you imagine if they have a child that was a Make-A-Wish recipient who had since passed?

We had been meaning to try this place out ever since we moved to this side of town, and we are sure glad that we were finally able to. Bottom line, the food is absolutely phenomenal, fresh, and fast.

We went during the busy dinner time, and our first impression was that it was very loud in the main dining hall. It was hard to hear one another as we decided what we wanted, but it was an interesting setup. You order at the counter, and they give you a number to set on your table. As we were ordering, we noticed there was outdoor seating available, so we got our order, filled up our sodas, and went outside and found a nice table to sit at.

Being close to the highway, there was a lot of car droning in the background, but it was still more peaceful than indoors. We got our food really fast, though. But then we didn't have any plates or napkins. We then found out each table indoors had paper plates and napkins there. It was very self-serve, so I just grabbed some and headed back to our table.

We got the cheesy bread appetizer and a Build Your Own pizza with fresh mushrooms, black olives, and arugula. From the first bite to the last, these were absolutely delicious. That cheesy bread is some of the better cheesy bread I've had, and the pizza was really great, too. The ingredients were fresh, and the crust wasn't puffy or burnt. The sauce was really good, and the cheese was melty and cooked to perfection. The sauce cup with the cheesy bread really brought it to the next level.

I really enjoyed the food here. If you can deal with the noisier atmosphere, I highly recommend this place. It was affordable for a pizza place, and it met my expectations for quality. We will definitely be returning!

Pizza is great! Different atmosphere where they don't have wait staff per se, but you order everything at the counter. Live music sometimes on the patio. Plenty of parking. I'd recommend it ?

Have been to Wautoma location but wanted to try Appleton location and was shocked in the the difference. The pizza was still awesome but nothing like Wautoma. Very impersonal and only one size pizza plus no pasta options. Very clean.

Really Christianos? I ordered 2 Hawaiian style pizzas with extra ham and pineapple…. This doesn’t look like extra toppings. The most frustrating part is I paid for extra toppings and trusted that you would do it. What makes it worse is I also tipped lol. I guess I have to start checking my food order to make sure it’s right or this is your idea or extra toppings.
