Cold Stone Creamery

It took 46 minutes for our online order to be ready. We finally said something and then they started making our order. We watched the employee drop one of our dishes on the floor after making it. She put a new top on and put the ice cream in our bag. She didn't apologize or make a new one for us. The staff was too busy joking, laughing, and snacking on toppings to care about the customers.

Terrible customer service. I ordered in the app. We showed up a few minutes early, but the order wasn't ready. It was over 25 minutes past the stated availability before we got our order.

I ordered two Love It-sized Signature Creations. The portions were very small, and one of the cups was only filled halfway. To make up for it, the employee added a plain scoop of ice cream—without any toppings—to fill the rest of the cup.

Normally I’m not one to complain but, made “fresh” very disappointed with my experience at the Cold Stone Creamery in Appleton, WI on Calumet around 8:15 PM 6/29/25 Walked in thinking I’d get fresh ice cream, when the container was out sitting on the counter. I stated that it was melting to an employee. Just was told to put back in freezer at home. But also stated I wanted to eat it when I got home and the whole point of going was to get it fresh to eat. I just got dirty looks instead. No I’m sorry etc. No efforts to get fresh ice cream. I have pictures for proof.

I ordered the peanut butter cup perfection and was given the entirely wrong dish. When I told the worker that it was wrong, she then told me I was incorrect even though the list of ingredients was on the wall showing what was supposed to be in it.

Horrible new owners 😕 it's a shame

$8 for one Like It ice cream? I guess I should have done my due diligence and asked what the price would be before I had them scoop. Not even a few months ago it was cheaper. I was told there are new owners and they upped it by at least a dollar each item.
I am a long time customer for over 10 years and I don't think I will be back. Culver's is like $4. Sucks because I've always liked Cold Stone but I'm not spending $8 on a small ice cream again.

I just door dashed and there was a hair in my ice cream.

I got to create a custom cake and it was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Best Ice Cream Cake I have ever had. Thank you

Been coming here for a long time. The staff and ice cream is great but I’m not sure why the place has a smell of dead fish. Very off putting for an ice cream shop. I have a sensitive nose but something is rotting somewhere.

I don't post reviews often, but this deserves one! We got an ice cream cake from here for my daughter's 13th bday last week. It was rhw BEST cake I've EVER had! That includes regular cake, ice cream cake, wedding cake, etc. It was a cross between I've cream cake, with some regular cake, and a whipped cream type frosting...AMAZING! Straight out of freezer, perfect! No thawing or anything needed! Almost one week later and we are still eating leftovers from freezer and it's just as delicious as day one!! Seriously...the BEST!!

What a better way to cool off in the summer then with a delicious and refreshing ice cream treat.

This place features an entire menu of endless possibilities to your ice cream treat.

Keeping it simple get it in a cup want something on the edge get it in a Waffle cone all are delicious.

Don’t let the wine deter you this place Features speedy service and they will get you up to the front in a matter of a couple of minutes. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They will also give you samples if you are undecided.

I highly recommend the lemon sorbet. It was super refreshing on a hot day.?ahhh divine!!!!

Plenty of seating outside or get it to go. Thank you all for a great dessert experience we will be back.?

The ice cream was amazing...as ice cream always is. Could have done without Sophia's attitude both in the store, when my daughter knocked over the cup size display on accident...which apparently happens once a week. (Maybe secure that down then) and also when I called to talk about our experience. I definitely suggest going in on her day off.

Went for my birthday "treat" yesterday and was met with an ice cream that tasted like used milk. It was bland with little to no flavor, I would bet money they changed the formulas. And, I am guessing that employees are not supposed to take a white plastic spoon, scoop into the ice cream at the serving counter and casually eat it while leaning against the open serving bar while customers watch. Ummmmmm
