Copper Rock Coffee Company

Just left after visiting with my son. Having been a long time Appleton resident, we’ve frequented Copper Rock many times over the years but lately the quality has been less than acceptable. A few weeks ago we bought coffee and asked for a French Press grind only to get home and find the beans to be very finely ground, as if for drip/machine brewing. Today we went in for lunch and asked for a veginini and a grilled cheese with fruit cup. Our food came out and neither sandwich was remotely warm, the cheese barely sweating, much less melted. The same sandwich I’ve ordered for years. My son’s grilled cheese was the same, and nary a fruit cup in sight. When I brought it to the counter and told them it wasn’t anything I was going to eat and it was not the quality that I’ve come to expect from the establishment I got a “sorry about that” as the employee took the dish back and walked away. Being a Saturday I had anticipated business and a wait but this wasn’t that. They weren’t busy and the food seemed the epitome of half-a**ed. Incredibly disappointing to spend the money and not get an edible meal. Go to ACOCA and save yourself the disappointment.

We got the coffee and spinach mushroom quiche. Coffe was good quiche was a little bland. They had a a lot of bakery choices.
Service was fast and they were very nice.
Atmosphere was ok, it was clean and co.fy but felt a little corporate. They had another room open also for seating so plenty of space. They also had a lot to look at for purchase.

Had the best Spiced tea oatmilk latte! Very busy, cute café in a historic Appleton building. Centrally located on Appleton's Main drag, College Ave.

This is a great spot to grab some coffee, specialty coffee drinks, and more - food, too. Inviting atmosphere. Brick and wood look great. And plenty of seating that was well-spaced apart. (Not cramped.) The Nitro Cold Brew was excellent. And so was the Caramel Creme Latte. When you need a little boost/pick-me-up, and/or food hit, in downtown Appleton, this is your spot.

Very busy place, but with good reason! Amazing coffee, energy drinks, and food! I am so impressed by the selection of drinks and food. I got a croissant sausage and egg sandwich which was so filling and very delicious. I also got the raspberry limeade lift and my friend got the PSL (best PSL I think I’ve ever tasted). I was so impressed by both drinks which tend to be hit-or-miss at many other coffee places I’ve visited. The inside had lots of seating and some games available for guests to utilize. If I’m ever in the area again I’ll make it a point to stop in!

They have a pretty decent selection of food - multiple vegetarian options that were customizable enough to make vegan. The building and interior are GORGEOUS and it was consistently super busy. Even though they were busy, wait times were decent, and the staff was positive and helpful (I know how overwhelming and overstimulating high traffic stores can be, so major kudos to them)! I'd absolutely recommend if you enjoy the hustle and bustle of a local coffee shop.

We were visiting the area and needed a relatively quick breakfast but did not want the typical fast food or big chain restaurants. We were able to place our order the night before to save time in the morning. Everything tasted great, the only issue and why I deducted one star for service is that there were only two people working and they got easily overwhelmed by the morning rush. So even though we ordered the night before, it took 15-20 minutes to get our order. Fortunately we had the extra time.

I have made several sincere attempts to figure out if I can bring some fun music into copper rocks and I totally enjoy the atmosphere and coffee there! Corbin is a great guy and I have (to my knowledge?) filled out what is necessary. I would even love to have my own night of music and invite all the people I have met since moving to this area. Is there some way someone can contact me as to why I can't get any return communication, whether it is a yes, or a no? Or what I am doing wrong in communicating? I say this in all positivity as this would be a perfect venue for my fun, upbeat music set! Please communicate. Dave Ross Music!

Great place amazing vibe and friendly employees also a big plus to enjoy your beverage or food outside with umbrella tables highly recommended
