Not a very clean kitchen from the looks of it. Super sweet staff seems more like a management thing.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Appleton! You can never go wrong choosing Copper Rock for brunch or a quick coffee. I’d highly recommend a vanilla or raspberry chai. Their chai is the best I’ve had!

People who like coffee are usually happy with what they get and the food is very respectable. It's often tight for seating, so plan ahead to wait a bit.
Wow what a cozy vibe this place gives. The food is excellent. Everything I’ve tried is wonderful. My favorites are the egg and cheese and the 3 cheese grilled cheese. I’m not much of a coffee drinker but my husband said they have really good coffee too. Give this place a try you won’t regret it!

Espresso Dirnks are really good but I've gotten food twice and been very disappointed. The bread for my egg and cheese was very chewy and tasted vaguely like whatever sandwich had been made before mine. The time before I got a quiche which was very gummy. The coffee is excellent and will come back for that, but will not order breakfast or lunch again

4 stars for everything except the coffee. The coffee is terrible. I'm sorry but I used to come here everyday for coffee but in the past couple years it's been nasty. Those who know, know. This place is a tourist trap now. Super sad because I live downtown and that was my morning spot. Tons of people sleeping on couches and really dirty.

I'm still sitting here; the food was good, and the service was too. I'm impressed by the lady playing magnificently the piano, singing beautifully. By the way, I don't know if it is a cultural thing that nobody encourages this artist with a "bravo!" or at least applause, IMO, she deserves it.

Needed to have lunch catered for a Memorial Service/Celebration of Life. This event included a full Military Honors Funeral Service with the US Army, American Legion riflers, buglers playing TAPS, and a Lutheran Pastor present.
It was also 82 degrees with the sun out and only 12PM-noon, so we just wanted (elevated) cold sandwiches and salads. And Copper Rock was really great. People were asking throughout, "Where'd you get the food?—All of it was so delicious!"
Beforehand, we bought to try each of the items we would order for a 50 person breakfast and lunch. Every item was perfect, so we ordered each item we tried for the event. When everything arrived, the coffee was fresh and piping hot, the breakfast was freshly-made, the lunch boxes were perfect and very cold e.g. mayo-based Chicken Salad sandwiches as if it were made immediately-to-order, and the beverages were ice-cold. We kept the sandwiches boxed in an air-conditioned landing for three hours. When we set them out, they were still cold and fresh.
Every meal and salad was as good as ordering in their cafe. Corbin managed the A+ process for us from initial discussion, through the simple ordering process, and delivery for us. The prices were better than local caterers we've tried before. However, we felt Copper Rock's recipes and execution were on another level from the other caterers we had tried before. The difference being between a catered, recognizable chicken salad sandwich and one from Copper Rock—where each bite impresses, makes you pause, you enjoy the whole thing, actually finish it, and continue to think about it. I'm still thinking about it!
The idea for cold sandwiches from Copper Rock came to us from just my mom and I having lunch together. We just wanted soup and a half sandwich. We also tried their quiche and coffee. Everything was excellent. So we called to ask about catering and Corbin took care of everything.
He is first-rate-skilled at this process.
In my opinion, the only review that really matters to me is that I would absolutely order through them again. Everything came out exactly as told it would.
Even the fruit they used were so delicious and fresh. Everyone was talking about it. It was food everyone actually wanted to eat! And there were lots of different tastes there including all ages.
So, Thank You Corbin, staff, and Copper Rock for doing everything you could for us to make this day go very smoothly. Also, thank you for your kind words to our family during this difficult time. It's great to have you in our community.
I wish I had thought to take photos of the food, but I did not. But here are a few photos of military honors before lunch.

Place was great as well as the food. The wait was worth it but would like to see it move a bit faster. Backroom where the stag is was extremely loud because of a group of people which made it unpleasant. I will be make this a must stop the next time I'm up there
