Everything on your end does not say your business is closed, otherwise I wouldn’t have placed an online order and come all the way to your location to pick it up. You shouldn’t be replying to reviews invalidating people’s experience by saying we should know your business is closed. Start off with a simple apology instead and turn your online ordering off. I have not been refunded, by the way, and I will try everything from my end to get my money back.

Why does google say you are open when you are not? Why was I able to place an order for carry out, just to show up to an empty and closed building? I was charged $45 for food I didn’t even receive. I understand being short staffed, but I don’t understand being able to place an order when there’s nobody there to make it!
Edit to reply: it does not say it is closed, it says open online until 7pm. Only closed on Mondays. I tried looking up a Facebook page and nothing even comes up. So I’m unsure what you mean by “everything” says you’re closed.

We came in with a large group of softball girls and they were willing to accommodate our group, were fast and on top of everything! The food was great, drinks were great, and the owner was super nice!

Kid-friendliness: The owner was so sweet! Our softball girls were trying to win ducks. She put in money for them and gave them some tips! She was super and very appreciative! Will definitely come back when we play in the area!

We went for Mimosas and Bingo a few weeks ago and unfortunately I was unimpressed. The service was terrible and I don’t say that lightly. I don’t know why the guy waiter works there because he seems miserable and is very rude. We felt like an inconvenience and his responses were snarky and rude. They were somewhat busy and I can understand service being slower but this was more than that. He was blatantly ignoring we were even there and I felt like an inconvenience to him. My friend said she had the same experience with the guy bartender/waiter when she had gone a different time when there was no event going on.

We were told they were only offering a set four flavors that night but then found out Another table was offered a list of mimosa flavors they could try. I fully understand having a set list but make it consistent.

On the positive note, Dory the owner seemed nice and that she cared about her. Customers. I loved that she supported her kitchen staff by backing them up. I just wish the waiters shared a portion of her attitude.

Food was decent but I won’t return because of the service.

Husband wanted to find a good fish fry in Appleton. I saw ads for dairyland so suggested it. We came in for a fish fry. Husband had perch I had haddock. We also ordered an appetizer. Well first thing our meal came out and we had to ask for the appetizer we had ordered. Husband liked his perch and loved the potato puffs. The haddock was ok but I also enjoyed the potato puffs. Did enjoy the appetizer when we finally got it. Waitress came with bill and then asked if we wanted dessert. I found this backwards too. Meal before appetizer and bill before asking if we wanted anything else. Is this the way restaurants being run now? Or am I just old fashioned.

Friday…lunch time…the place was inviting, but at the same time had a dark, man cave meets casino vibe. Started off by trying to order their old fashion flight to share with my sister. Gentlemen that waited on us told us those generally weren’t available until later in the day, but he wasn’t busy so he could get the ingredients out & make them. You get 4 small glasses with muddled cherry & orange, supposedly bitters, made with 4 different spirits; Bulleit, Jim, Jim Rye, & Brandy…I believe. These were the ABSOLUTE WORST old fashions I have ever had. Asked the guy what was in them & made it clear that they weren’t good. He seemed a little mad, but played it cool, then proceeded to tell me that I probably didn’t think much of them because I had expressed that I usually enjoy mine with Southern Comfort. Let me be clear…I have had all kinds of delicious old fashions all over Wisconsin & this my friends, was pure rubbish. The guy made no attempt to remedy or offer a discount just proceeded to tell us “they have won awards”. Well, either you made them wrong or the people giving awards don’t have taste buds or the slightest idea what an old fashion should actually taste like. Anyway, also shared the perch fish fry with the potato puffs…absolutely DIVINE. If you go on a Friday, be sure to try the fish & potato puffs!

Parking: Parking area in the front of the building & surrounding the building. May fill up quickly at busy times.

Kid-friendliness: There were many tables away from the bar that you could eat at with kiddos.

Went in for the Mimosa flights. Got there a little early but sign said 12- end of bingo. They weren't set up so ordered a drink which was good and at 1:15 someone asked if we wanted anything else. Said waiting for flights and was told oh guess he's not doing until 2. Would have been nice to be told that and shouldn't have had 12 on sign. So many people going to bar for drinks and not being helped. Barely a word said to us. Nicest person was one doing bingo who walked by and said hi how are you doing. Just doesn't seem to care about customers. Must have a great business to not have to care about first timers. Edit: careful leaving a review. You will be blocked if not what they want to hear. Hope the bar does great for being local.
