“Now called Brunch Box. Same as Schreiner's mostly, but new owner. Had a spectacular pot roast lunch with real mashed potatoes, not instant. Tender and 3/4 inch thick. Great taste. It was the special for the day. Prices are very competitive. There's an error on the menu for coffee. It's $2.50, not $3.50.“

“This diner offers great food with a welcoming atmosphere. While service can slow down during rush hours, it's still manageable. It’s been a while since I last visited, and I’m glad to see it’s still affordable, even with a slight price increase.
The food was well-prepared, served warm, and packed with flavor. Seating is self-serve—keep an eye out for tables with a green sign, as those are available. I wasn’t sure how it worked at first, but a kind customer helped me find my way.“

“hope your establishment is paying her well because she earns every penny she's working for! I have never ever in my 60 plus years had such excellent service! Irene- may you always be blessed! Our very young petite waitress (Irene?) was beyond superb! She was quick to serve us, kept my coffee cup filled, she didn't miss a beat in every detail of serving us! “We just moved to the area and were looking for a "coney" style restaurant and this is it. I ordered the veggie omellette with the red potatoes and rye toast. All were very good and portions were NOT stingy! I can't wait to try their authentic gyro! My husband ordered the gyro omelette with the red potatoes and pancakes. He loved all too and said, " Glad we found our new home diner."“
