food was great and service was above and beyond. Going back and checking them out at the Farmers Market
Absolutely wonderful people!! I felt very welcome there and the coffee is divine! Get the Egyptian Goulash. It's simply exquisite! Will drive 2 hours for the coffee again soon!
Extremely friendly people, very willing to go above and beyond what is required.I will definitely be returning to this place!
I had been wanting to try the Egyptian restaurant for sometime. The restaurant is very plain with café style seating. Not a lot of warmth and ambience. The proprietor, however, was jovial, and wonderful to talk with. He was happy to offer suggestions and explain his culture and, the food of his childhood.
Overall, the food was Egyptian, but reminded me of a low level American restaurant. Although I will definitely try it again, mostly because of the proprietor, I think it was mildly lacking in flavor… EXCEPT, I do have to say that he has the greatest baklava I have ever had in my entire life!!! it was also pretty neat to be able to drink sodas that weren’t “American.”
Wheelchair accessibility: The proprietor is in the wheelchair, so I’d say that the test pretty well to the ass accessibility. There certainly is no issue getting into the restaurant or navigating it.

EXTREMELY kind man working this store. I saw a woman who was nothing but smiles in the back. Only came in with my son and got some baklava, he made it this time with vanilla pudding I think. It had enough consistency where it held together in the baklava really well. It was super good and 100% my spot for baklava. I might try coming here for a full meal one day but I was just craving something sweet.
Definitely give this store a try! It was empty and I have no idea why because again, the baklava was absolutely delicious and only 9$ for 3 pieces. Great price. ♥️

Everything about this place is fantastic and it’s an experience every time we go! This is the best falafel I’ve ever had, the baklava just melts in your mouth the minute you take a bite, and the owner is a genuine guy whose passion for cooking is apparent in every bite you take. If you haven’t tried it, I highly recommend stopping sometime because you will not regret it one bit!!!

Very pleased with the food and service. We ordered the meatballs and rice, and the goulash. Turkish coffee is a must when at an Egyptian restaurant. Please be sure to check him out at the farmers market in appleton this summer.

I went there for the very first time and unfortunately the food was very subpar. The one guy that was there was exceptionally friendly and nice but after we left we both got very sick. She had the falafel and it was very greasy and tasted "old". I had the rice and meatballs and I am sure they were frozen meatballs out of a bag. While the seating area appeared clean it smelled very odd. I couldn't identify the smell. I came close to walking out but the owner was so kind I couldn't get myself to do that.

We came here for a small dinner with friends, all of us got Turkish Coffee's, 2 black and 2 cream and sugar, as well as 2 Grape Leaves, and 1 Gollash. The Gollash was wonderfully seasoned and paired well with the lettuce provided. The Grape leaves as my fiancé would say were 10 out of 10 and served hot which apparently is a much better method than most other places. Our Black Turkish Coffees were deliciousEz, the owner, cook, and server all in one was a nice gentleman and we loved listening to him and his experiences of how he started as well as his future prospect's! We hope he continues to do well and we will for sure be visiting more often.*Note for future customers - everything is made from scratch and not everything on the menu will be available at all times so take advantage of going multiple days to enjoy his wonderful cuisine!Thank you Ez for our Dinner and being so friendly!
