Best liquor prices I've ever seen. Why did it take me so long to come here?

My co worker and I stopped here after work for their AWESOME happy hour (Buy one get one free appetizers and half price glasses of wine) The customer service was absolutely OUTSTANDING. We were treated like royalty and they even brought us a little sample appetizer, compliments of the chef. For every wine we were interested in, the bartender was right on top of pouring us a sample and when we found the one we fell in love with (New Age Red) She gave us a 20% off coupon to go buy a bottle next door if we wanted. The food was amazing, their Carpaccio was to die for and the scallops are the best I have ever had. This is going to be our regular happy hour stop from here on out. I love the atmosphere, food, service and even the bathrooms are unbelievable fancy. Over all a very wonderful experience.

WOW... I can not tell you I have ever been blown away by such a great Experience as we had last evening @ The Wine Review with my Future Bride, Son & Daughter-in-law. Pat Flanagan what insight you have to this Oasis Hide-A-Way nestled in Downtown Appleton. I am sorry that I have never tried this quaint dining experience before, but sure to be back. When we choose this spot, we were not expecting this level of Sophistication and Touch Of Class for our first experience. Thinking we were out for High End Burgers or Steak Sandwiches we were taken back by the decor that was charming and I knew we were getting more. The unique Private booths for two, tables for more and the quiet of the Wine Library surround the bar with hundreds of selections to match any taste. The minute we sat down, Job & Robert made us feel welcome and for what was just an ordinary night, made a special night. Each offered ideas of taste that certainly allowed us to pick our palates desires based on our flavor adventures we enjoyed. Enhancing the adventure was the Bruschetta & Calamari Appetizers. For a change it was nice conversation and great atmosphere with soft sounds of blues, jazz and light rock. Before we knew it our table was readied, and with precision the Wine Masters carried our drinks for us to dinner. This was where the real magic happened for me. Our waiter started us off with our options of soup or salad. While salads can be boring, homemade dressing caught my eye, but mention a soup made with curry and I am all in!!! I love soup, from chili, to noodle or rice, soup is always a favorite and this Creamy Red Onion Curry was superior to any of the other chains at the mall strip. For the main course I had the Special of the Day, Flank Steak covering a bed of seasoned potato drizzled with the yummiest Chipolata Sauce that blended so well for my spicy tastes. Then, what I never expected, fresh seared Brussels Sprouts blended in what seemed to be a lite wine sauce. The flavor explosion and crispness of the sprouts added something to them that I now know Brussels Sprouts are not just for pickling and garnish for drink.I thought our adventure was over, but boy was I wrong. Job had one more surprise in store, a chef specialty, Crème brûlée. I have to let you know that I am not by any means worldly and maybe I have been held in a sheltered life of Atypical Bar Food, but this desert was to die for. I have never tasted something so light and the level of sweetness was perfect. You can not go to The Wine review and not taste this wonderful master piece.Pat, I love my MOM and God rest her Soul, she never cooked like this. So Major Kudos to you and your staff, in particular Chef Tony whose Chipolata Flank Steak was not just satisfying, but I was not able to put my fork down until the plate was clear. And of course that Curry Red Onion Dream Soup leaves me warm and wanting more. Not too spicy, but enough to know I had something delicious going on. Top that off with a positively enchanting desert with great service, this experience was a 12 on a scale of 1 to 5.
