I recommend the turkey pesto sandwich. Special memories made here ❤️❤️ Beautiful building!
Good Times Food in downtown Appleton Wisconsin. 3-6 happy hour. Excellent beer and cocktail selection, Fried Cheese curds evil good! Angus burgers are well portioned amazing flavor, ambiance is a must to experience. Price was very affordable. Staff attentive and very friendly. Must see. Must go if your ever visiting.
Five stars for Good Company, and a special shout-out to Sophia! It had been about a year since I last visited, and Sophia, the front counter cashier, made my experience excellent. She was so professional, polite, and helpful. Her abilities are far beyond her years, and she's exactly the kind of top-tier employee any business would be lucky to have.
One of my favorite places to eat out at. Great food at reasonable prices.
Great place all around! The only knock I can think of is that the wait was a little long, but it was definitely worth it! Especially a fan of the cheese curds, but the food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the decor and feel of the restaurant was super unique.
My son made a reservation at 11am this morning for 545pm for 6 people. Was even asked “do you mind being seated upstairs?” He said no & was told “we’ll see you tonight “. We showed up & were told there was no reservation. Obviously, no one wrote it down. No apology. No accommodation. 3 employees simply looked at us like deer in the headlights. We will not be back.
Super friendly people! They were willing to accommodate a very large group with super short notice! Thanks Angie and Collin!
I still recommend because it is a Hometown favorite and the atmosphere is cozy. My most recent visit, I had chicken fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli. Alfredo sauce had no flavor & noodles were under cooked. My husband got the French dip .. very good .. but we sure do miss the fries you used to have …the most amazing fries tasted like mashed potatoes in the middle! The fries now are super mediocre with seasoning salt. I do think the quality has gone down and the prices have gone up. I understand everybody’s prices are going up but it’s very unfortunate that the quality has declined. I drive by often and they’re always very busy so apparently they’re not affected by this yet. Wait staff is always great!
Went out for a friend's birthday last night, so we had a decent size group. We got drinks and ordered and noticed no one had gotten their salads or soups, when here comes our food.
There was another larger party that came in. The waiter was taking care of them and we had to get his attention for refills. We did find out from the manager that they ran out of beer and had to get more and put on ice. Would have thought that if you ran our of beer, just come say if we wanted something else! Just an unfortunate situation.
As we were done with our food, our server brought out some soup and none of us were wanting. Not sure what happened in the kitchen, but felt bad for the waiter. A friend said it best, he is the face of the company we are seeing as we were getting impatient.
Hopefully next time it's better.

Normally my meals are excellent. This time it was a bit underwhelming. Less sauce, less meat. Hopefully it was a fluke.

Tortellini was extra salty - it hid the true taste of the dressing and pasta...
Sometimes, salt is not a flavor enhancer - just a preservative.
