For people that create vegan, dairy free baked goods it really sucks that they have far-right owners that are not gay friendly. I used to not care that they were expensive, until I learned more about the owners. Ick. Updated from previous review on 2025-12-28

Good service and seating area. Bakery was dry and most had an unusual aftertaste. Will not return.

This place is a celiac dream come true. I was so delighted to find this place. I stocked up since I'm from out of town but will definitely be coming back. Everyone was so nice and kind. I also got an Arnold Palmer since it was the afternoon but the had delightful looking coffee and teas. I can't wait to come back on my next visit to the Appelton area. Thanks everyone for such a great experience. So good to feel cared and respected in regards to my dietary needs. ❤️

Happy Bellies is the perfect name! Because I was so happy after my visit and of course enjoying my treats. Such a warm, welcoming staff. They took time to share their mission and explain ingredients. I’ve been Celiac for 35 years, so walking into a bakery and feeling confident about my purchases was so important. I think I got one of everything! But the absolute best was the cherry half moon pie. Literally brought tears to my eyes because it tasted just like I remembered. Fresh, soft, flavorful and not overly sweet. Thank you Happy Bellies for sharing these tasty treats for all to enjoy. It was so worth the two hour drive.

Mind blown at the options available. First off, everything is GF and otherwise labeled if you also have a need for dairy free, egg free etc. Beautiful place with a mix of high table and regular table seating as well as comfortable larger chairs. Two unisex bathrooms that were clean and had a changing station. Small parking lot but no problem with finding a spot. Pictured are the fall spiced donut & pumpkin chocolate chip muffin. Coffee & drinks also available. Phenomenal place with great staff. Even more of a bbonus that they are kid friendly.

We ordered our wedding cake from Happy Belly’s Bakeshop, and it was absolutely perfect! My husband has celiac disease, so finding a fully gluten-free bakery was really important to us — and Happy Belly’s completely delivered (literally and figuratively!).

We ordered a custom red velvet cake for our wedding, and it was beautiful and delicious. The texture was so moist and flavorful — you’d never even know it was gluten-free! Our guests loved it so much that the cake was completely gone by the end of the night. Best of all, my husband didn’t get sick, which is such a huge win and something we’re so grateful for.

If you’re looking for a gluten-free bakery that doesn’t compromise on taste or quality, Happy Belly’s Bakeshop is the place to go. They made our wedding day even sweeter — highly, highly recommend!

6/5 stars! They did an AMAZING custom cake order. design was top tier. cake + filling was out of this world. all staff was super friendly. incredibly clean bathroom and shop. Will be back!

Love the selection. I haven't grabbed a mix and match bag yet but I like the idea of a surprise. Samoas donuts....don't skip that specialty!!! The quiche is perfection every time.

For a gluten-free bakery prices were not bad. I had some round cinnamon thing with icing. It was really good. And moist. It's hard to find gluten-free baked goods that are not dry. But this was delicious and moist. Highly recommend.

Happy Bellies baked goods are out of this world!! 😍 I tried their mocha donut & espresso scone. Both were delicious! Plus, as someone with celiac disease, knowing that everything is gluten free gives me a lot of peace of mind. Would highly recommend!!
