Normally Hunan 1 is pretty good but the last few times it seems to be going down in quality. Today our order was the worst yet. My general tso was inedible, tasted like it was 3 days old and over cooked. Steamed dumplings seemed to just taste off. Even the basic white rice tasted like it had vinegar in it, soy sauce couldn't help.

I love this place. After I moved, I don't go as much as I would like anymore. But the food is always just as good as I remember when I get into town.

1st time eating here and was definitely satisfied, the food tasted great and had to be the biggest crab rangoons I've ever had, but short on the crab flavor but still very good, loved the pork egg rolls, big portions at a great price, I will definitely be back to try more.

I came in late they served me with a smile and a warm welcome and were patient when I didn’t know what I wanted

I enjoy the ease of ordering my meal online and I am always greeted by a smile when I go in for pick-up. The food is consistently delicious; I love the Szechuan-style Tofu with extra veggies. Thank you Hunan 1 for being part of the Appleton community for so long!

food was gooooood, warm and delicious, unfortunately forgot to take photos because i scorfed it down ? the service was super fast and the food is suuper fairly priced (i got 7 rangoons, a lunch special w chicken and rice and a can of coke for 15$!) The atmosphere was nice and very quiet. Looking forward to eating here again

Decent price but food was mediocre at best with small portion reflecting the cheap price. Got the Hunan bean curd lunch special. ā€œFried riceā€ was yellow and dry. Bean curd entree lacked much sauce but was flavorful. Didn’t include anything else (egg roll, soup, etc) but again, you get what you pay for. I will try somewhere else next time.

Barely any shrimps in shrimp fried rice there is no taste of some sort of seasoning in the shrimp fried rice or egg foo young usually I could eat either foods without soy sauce or sweet n sour sauce but now it's nasty disgusting
