India Darbar Restaurant

The service was awful, the waitress was rude and I felt as if our table was ignored. She did not see if we wanted anything to drink besides waters we had bring up that we wanted order a soda. She refilled water at all of her table except for ours and when she started to take our order she had admitted that she did not know what one of the menu items was. I can understand if she was new or it was busy but there was at least three tables that had guest and had all been attended to with food and their drinks. At the end a gentleman was helping us and the waitress was with her other tables or incoming guest. The food was pretty great as this was our first time coming. Although with such awful and disrespectful service from the waitress I will not be coming again.

Delicious food! We carried out & ordered over the phone (very easy!). It was our 1st time trying this restaurant. All 5 of us loved the food. We highly recommend this restaurant! Can't wait to go back.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was rotten, and shockingly, there was plastic inside my meal, which is a major health hazard. The staff didn’t seem to care and the service was extremely unprofessional. I strongly recommend avoiding this place until they fix their hygiene, safety, and service standards.

One of the BEST Indian restaurants in the area! I've never had anything here I didn't love and they aren't afraid to make it spicy. The naan is so good that I have stopped here to pick up only naan while ordering from another Indian restaurant.

This is seriously one of the best places for Indian food in the area and guy who is always working the counter is super friendly. What more could you want?

My only complaint is that they no longer offer the lunch buffet. Otherwise 10/10.

The service was terrible, and the staff were outright rude. Since the change in management, the quality has dropped drastically—the goat meat was ROTTEN. It was the worst experience ever, and no one in the restaurant seemed to care about the customers. Take care of your health ROTTEN FOOD HERE.

Coming from California I didn't know what to expect eating Indian food in Appleton Wisconsin. However it was excellent 👍. Recommended by the friends we were visiting here, this place hit the spot. Dine in atmosphere could use some work, but we opted for takeout.

I had a very bad experience at the restaurant yesterday. The service was poor, and the serving lady was extremely rude. I didn’t receive a water refill even after asking another male server, and I left without getting it. There were threads in the water glass, and I was served the wrong order. Management has changed so bad food had stomach problem later.
