Recommended by a local when we were in town. Wow. The food was great and the service was amazing! We got there early enough to beat the crowd and they accommodated us quickly. The food was delicious and creative (the French toast especially). It got really crowded, but still 5 stars because they can’t help if they’re delicious! See you next time we’re in Appleton!

I love Mateos! The food is excellent, fresh, etc. Service is wonderful. Huge portions. You will have a couple more meals feom leftovers. You could easily split a meal with someone.

First time at Mateo’s and, wow, we will definitely be back! They had every table filled during a Monday brunch hour and I was impressed with the staff’s teamwork. You can tell folks like working there and it shows with their excellent service and food!

Reyna was our server and she was just a gem. She forgot to have the kitchen make two kids breakfast entrée and was very clear with us regarding her error. I was impressed with her humbleness and transparency on the situation. She set a great example for my 6 and 8-year-old on accountability, work ethic, and kindness <3

Mateo’s rocks!! Really good family restaurant food with fresh ingredients.

They’re honestly providing too much food for what they’re charging. You will have leftovers. Wonderful wait staff and a bright inside environment. Go to Mateo’s today…. 🙂❤️

Came here this past Saturday morning with my boyfriend and wow the food!! Had a 20 minute wait that was not actually 20 minutes. You know the food is worth it when you wait for breakfast lol. I got a country skillet and was blown away by the quality and the quantity! The food was delicious, service was amazing! We WILL be back! Love this place!

Bright, clean breakfast place with cheerful staff and excellent food. HUGE portions for breakfast. I could not finish my omelette. Worthwhile place if you are in the area. I’ve been there twice and food was great both times.

Visiting from Milwaukee. Excellent food. Everyone who worked here was more than willing to help out, even though they weren't our server. We would definitely recommend this place.

Awesome place with excellent friendly service. Meat lovers skillet is delicious and probably 3 breakfasts. THE BEST pancakes this side of the Mississip.
