5/5 stars – Min Du Buffet: Still an amazing joint in Appleton
Min Du Buffet on Wisconsin Ave is hands-down one of the best all-you-can-eat Chinese spots around the Fox Cities, and it never disappoints. Massive spread every time: fresh sushi rolls, crispy crab rangoon, killer General Tso’s with just the right heat, Mongolian grill where you build your own bowl, steaming soups, lo mein, fried rice, and a solid dessert section with those addictive little fried doughnuts and soft-serve. Everything stays hot, gets refilled fast, and the flavors are on point—no skimping on quality.
The place has that classic buffet charm: huge portions, quick service, reasonable prices for how much you can eat, and staff who keep things moving without being pushy. It’s reliable, consistent, and always hits the craving perfectly.
Went back recently with my brother—same old setup, same great food—and it felt just as good as ever. The spot has this comforting, familiar energy that makes it easy to keep coming back, whether it’s for a casual lunch or loading up after a long day. Doesn’t matter what’s going on; Min Du delivers every single time.
If you’re in Appleton and want a no-fuss, delicious buffet, this is the one. Full 5 stars—top-notch spot, highly recommend! 🍱🥢

ALERT! ALERT! Please do NOT eat here, I went here earlier with me 3 kids the place looks run down there was kids doing homework in random places it was just ughhh. The food was ok but lacked flavor and seasonings, and I have some questions about the sushi and toe soup they had there, it all looked nasty. And the atmosphere was not it no light got in except one corner of the room, dim lighting, and bad music(it was the same sound on repeat) I really advise you to eat somewhere else this place was gross, dark, and damp. The only good thing about this place was that the workers were cool and nice, but that dosnt sum up the nasty food and bad invorment.

Ignore these bot and fake reviews, not to consider that most of the pictures in these reviews with photos aren’t even from this location! This place was by far one of the worst Chinese buffet I’ve been to! The meat is tough, the teriyaki chicken taste like peanut butter, the general tsos chicken taste awful, the lo mein noodles don’t even taste traditional, they taste like straight spaghetti, and the water taste like tap water from a sewer! Absolutely Horrible experience and will never bring my kids here again! I will say this though, the staff is very nice and polite. But the food is terrible and I will not be returning!

I would give it 4.5 stars, the selection was small, kinda low quality seats, kids all over, but the food was definitely good, felt fresh and homemade compared to like China King in Oshkosh. Definitely felt full definitely gonna come back was good price. Though it definitely was a bit crowded lol had to get in line cuz the buffet a single counter.

The service was unsatisfactory, and the egg drop soup lacked substance, tasting mostly like watery broth with very few ingredients. The only positive aspect of the meal was the crab rangoon, which was well prepared and enjoyable. However, the lo mein was disappointing, as it closely resembled plain spaghetti noodles rather than traditional lo mein. I believe this may be misleading to customers, especially given that the restaurant’s windows are covered, limiting transparency. Overall, both my friends and I had a poor experience, and the quality of the food did not meet our expectations

While the food isn't the best Chinese food I've ever had they do a good job keeping a variety of dishes on the buffet fresh and hot on my recent visit. This is my 2nd visit. The price is good and the staff is very courteous and prompt. I think they run a good business here and it seems popular

Food is ok. During our visit most was old and burnt. Kids are the same cost as adults now. More expensive than other buffets that are fresher and cleaner.
