One of the best meals I have had in a while of this particular type of cuisine. My husband and I absolutely love experiencing all different kinds of food from everywhere. We recently relocated to the Appleton area after living 20 years in Wausau. One of the harder parts of leaving was losing all of the local small business places we frequented because we knew that their food was authentic and delicious. I happened upon Ong’s kitchen, just by exploring the area close to our house. I hadn’t yet had a chance to try it when a friend who lives here highly recommended it. I stopped in for lunch the other day and got the rice vermicelli noodle bowl. Which is a favorite of mine! Minus being to brave for my own level of spice 😝🥵 that I added(not the restaurants fault at all)….. it was a dish that reminded me of one of my favorite places that we had back in our old city. In fact, I am making my Husband get takeout from there today because I’m excited to try what else they offer. I am truly happy that this is one of the very first places that we found and we will be repeat customers. I’m sure you’ll even see my children in there because Pho & egg rolls are some of their favorites!! Thank you for sharing your delicious food with our community! For all of you, wondering if you should stop there, what are you waiting for exactly?!? I think tonight is the perfect night to try it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Okay so I went here today and ordered a crab poke bowl and a pork Bami I got home and was very disappointed with the crab poke bowl because they used imitation crab which doesn’t say that on the menu or in the description they made it seem as it was fresh raw Marinated crab which was not the case I’m so upset fresh seaweed but no fresh crab is crazy

Recently moved and have been looking for a new go to Hmong restaurant/deli. Tried the curry noodles (kapong) and it was really good! Served with cabbage, mint, green onions and cilantro on the side too! I do wish there were quail eggs in it but that's just personal preference. Spring rolls were great too and I honestly didnt need to order them bc my bowl of curry noodles was filling. I do like that they had water dispenser for self serving as well as having take out boxes and condiments out and ready as well. Super clean and cute place. I want to come back to try the bowls that they have

The only slight downside was that the service felt non welcoming and was honestly kind of confusing. Wasn't sure if the person who brought out food was going to clear my table so I just did it myself, I didnt want to look like an idiot if I had just left a mess there. It is a very weird hybrid between a self serve and being served, especially with virtually no signs up about how their process works.

I don't normally put bad reviews but here it is...I went in to order for to go Bahn mi and a Bubba tea and I waited almost an hour. I see other people who came after me and dine in got their orders first then me. I went up to ask the girl up front and looks like she was giving me an attitude. I don't have time to wait any longer as I only have an hour of lunch...my advise to the restaurant owner treat your customers fair on a first come first serve basis. I was not happy with the service we received! Thanks for reading...

This isn’t our first time trying Ong’s products. Ong has a small family owned business, and really prides herself in the cleanliness and preparation of their menu items. We’ve tried their eggrolls multiple times, which are always fantastic with flavor and are perfectly made. We also ordered the crab Rangoon‘s, fried rice and Banh Mi sandwich. Everything was great. Menu prices are reasonable.

The restaurant itself is in a quaint little location on the north side of Appleton, and has room for seating or take-out.

I enjoy supporting locally, small, owned businesses, especially ones that pride themself in food quality and cleanliness, and Ong’s kitchen does that perfectly every time.

Incredible customer service, even better food. The inside is super clean and charming. They always get my food out fast. I could spend an entire day there.

Tried Ong’s Kitchen tonight and we’re obsessed! Everything was packed with flavor and tasted so fresh. You can really tell they care about their ingredients. We ordered the crab Rangoon, the banh mi sandwich (super fresh with the perfect crunch), spring rolls with peanut hoisin sauce (honestly addicting), beef fried rice, and pork egg rolls. We agreed it’s immediately going into our regular takeout rotation! Delish

Its Self service... Never been to a restaurant where u have to pay before eating... Not an Asian store you would rate that high... Expect the pho to be more (Less everything). DISAPPOINTED of the papaya salad.

Delicious! The absolute best and most flavor filled and fresh pho I've had in this area. Very generous portions, and pleasant atmosphere and very friendly service. I absolutely loved the fresh egg rolls and extremely tasty crab Rangoon.

I had been craving fried rice for over a week & found this place was right down the road from my job & honestly they are fantastic & I'm picky when it comes to my fried rice..everything was phenomenal except the Korean Corn dog as would've been better if it was cooked a bit longer as some parts were still a bit doughy so not happy about that but everything else was great even the mango boba
