The ramen was beyond excellent. I have not had anything better and I've been to 20+ ramen shops. Staff aas friendly and very hard working. Definitely recommend.

As someone who has traveled to Japan and is always on the hunt for authentic ramen, Ototo really hit the spot. I had the Spicy Tonkotsu and it was delicious—rich, flavorful broth with just the right amount of kick. I have a gluten sensitivity, and I was so impressed that they were able to accommodate me with rice noodles instead of the standard wheat. We also tried a few handrolls, and they were absolutely amazing—fresh and perfectly made. It’s rare to find such high-quality, authentic Japanese food in this area. Highly recommend!

I ordered online from their website for take out this evening. When I walked in, I was told my order was almost ready and was encouraged to sit down and wait. After waiting for a few minutes, a woman came up and asked me to pay for my food. I shared I had already paid online. A few minutes later, a different waitress comes up to me and informs me I need to pay. I again say that I paid and showed my receipt. A third woman comes up and again asks me to pay but this time when I share my order number and name she states they never saw my order in their system. I am very disappointed in the 10 minutes I was waiting in the restaurant for my food this had not been discovered already. She then shares I need to wait an additional 20 minutes for my take out order. I was not offered a water or snack while I waited nor did they provide any discount / freebie for their mistake. The food was fine but not anything to write home about. I really wanted to like this place but probably will not be back.

This is one of my favorite date spots. The pork buns are amazing. I could eat so many of them. I also enjoy their pho and have tried a few ramens. They make the best thai tea as well. They recently remodeled a little and the inside is very cute. Always great food and great service here.

I’m only sorry I waited so long to try Ototo! Bright, welcoming ambience in a small footprint. Fantastic menu of ramen, rice bowls, and noodle dishes. Lots of gluten free and vegan options. I had the spicy miso; my spouse had the pad Thai. We split an order of egg rolls. Food was excellent, came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back—I want to work my way through the menu!

Dining at Otōto was a delight. A well lit environment, pleasent atmosphere,courteous staff, and comfortable seating were just the start. The meat and sauces for the appetizers and entrees were cooked to perfection. I'm excited to eat there again and try all the different dishes/ramen they offer.
Could use some work. Tables of 5+ people should not be given only one glass bottle of water. We had to keep waving down the server for water, extra utensils which is understable, napkins, and our orders. It was uncomfortable having to keep trying to get the server attention and asking for a bunch of things. We didnt want to make it seem like we were annoying but im sure it came off that way. The tom yum noodle dish was amazing 10 out of 10. The other noodle dishes not so great. I didnt like the thin noodles, i perfer thicker bouncy noodles. Most of our eggs in the noodle dishes were over cooked no runny yolk and the ramen broth was lukewarm. Never got asked how everything was. The server forgot a couple of orders, so we asked server about it they said they forgot to put the orders in. the forgotten noodle orders did come out fast about 5min wait which is good. But by that time everyone was pretty much done eating. I ordered extra chashu but had the same amount as everyone but didnt want to say anything more to the servers. Im sure ill change review next visits as it could of been an off day for the staff. But def give them a try.

Walked in for the first time. The place looks very nice and clean, but the service was very slow. It took a long time for someone to keep on checking us. Our server, you could barely hear him. We had to keep asking him to repeat what he was saying. Also one of our entrees didn’t get served and had to wait an extra ten minutes while everyone else had their food already cause it was forgotten. I would have to say the for the food it was lukewarm not even remotely hot as ramen should be. The egg that was served for everyone’s entree was also very cold.

Update: Our second time here and I still think this is best Raman I've ever had. We went a few weeks ago to Chicago Raman and were thinking about coming back to this place because it was so good. If you like Raman you HAVE to come here!!
