Awful, I ordered a mixed vegetable and noodles. It had zero flavor and smelled like a sock.

The mall experience is very scarce these days. We are 90's kids and the mall is our second home. When ours closed, we ventured here. Sarku is one of the more decent eats is here. Through the years though, Sarku Japan have gone downhill. They no longer char the meat, provide steamed carrots and broccoli, provide hot chili oil, or the ability to select your own eating utensils. Yes, they give you one fork per order. No napkins either. Primarily chicken thighs are used for the chicken teriyaki order. I haven't had any other meats. The dumplings are subpar. Double meat is an option but I never do. You can also ask for more sauce, without extra charge. Fried rice is $.50 more. The meal is huge enough to share. At $10 a pop, it's a cheap and fulfilling lunch. I personally find this at a better deal than most restaurant at this mall.

As far as mall food court restaurants go, this is a decent choice. The employees were clean and respectful and working in a tidy environment, compared to some nearby restaurants. The service was incredibly quick but the chicken teriyaki itself lacked much flavor - probably would try other options before returning here in the future.Parking: Mall parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Not particularly kid friendly.

I used to enjoy this place but over the last few years I can see it going downhill. We always got the chicken teriyaki when we were in the mall. First, they stopped giving chili/sriracha sauce (yes, I know of the shortage). Then they started charging extra for fried rice. It was the last straw for me when I got the eye roll from the cashier. I had ordered 2 with fried rice and 1 with white rice. The cashier guy must've only heard me order 2. As he handed me 2 forks and I asked if I could get a 3rd fork he rolled his eyes. I get that everything is going up in price and I was okay with it as I still got the food when we went to the mall, but the annoying customer service that time doesn't deserve my money. I could've went back to order another dish but I decided to save my money to use elsewhere. Asking for a single "extra" fork shouldn't be that big of a deal.

They always have a line at the mall, and there's a reason for that- it's delicious! I love their white rice with veggies and chicken.

I always get the teriyaki chicken extra crispy. It takes longer but well worth the wait! Hot, fresh and delicious!

Food is your typical mall chicken fried rice but lower quality... The biggest complaint is how they don't cook the chicken fresh... The just pile the chicken on the side and put sauce ob it once and awhile. Who knows how long that chicken has been there...
Forever will be a staple in my monthly lunches! The staff are respectful and deserve their patrons respect. I appreciate them greatly!

I used to love this place, however the employees seem nasty now. I was awaiting my dish and the cook said “ok” (as in, done), so I went to grab my food and I asked for more sauce, as I usually do. At first he ignored me (he ignored my husband too), so I figured he was ignoring me after the third time I asked politely but then he grabbed the dish back and flung it back down as a shrimp went flying and said it condescendingly “don’t MOVE IT!?” I had literally moved it a couple inches because I was moving it towards the sauce trying to help. It was a really embarrassing experience and I don’t think I’ll be going back again.

Never go here, the chicken teriyaki gave me food poisoning and has left me very sick

Food was decent, but price has doubled and portion size has noticeably shrunk. Food wasnt fresh either, just sat in a huge pile at the end for who knows how long. Doesn't seem as worth getting anymore.

Always delicious! Great price per food. And always a huge line... But the huge line speaks for itself!!! You always come back for more of that chicken teriyaki with fried rice, oh and yes I will take the double meat please! And be careful if you order a large drink. It may as well be a two liter.
