Simple Simon Bakery went above and beyond my expectations for an order I put in. I wanted to recognize employees in my department that had to work over the holiday weekend and I am not local to Appleton. They delivered an assortment of muffins, donuts and cookies, even though they were closed for the day. When I asked if they had any fruit options, they offered to pick up a fruit tray from the local grocery store! The team appreciated the treats!

Probably one of those hidden gems.a small bakery that you dont know about until you're told about it, then you dont want to go anywhere else. Great and delicious looking pastries. I wanted to try them all unfortunately my wallet didn't agree. The service was great and they were very friendly.

We hired Simple Simon for our wedding cake and cupcakes. We could not be happier with our cake and cupcakes and the service! Our cake was beautiful and exactly what we wanted, and everything was delicious. We got four cupcake flavors: white, chocolate, carrot cake, and almond. The carrot cake was especially popular with our guests! We got exactly what we wanted. Dawn even called me to ask how everything went. It was also a smooth process with the consulting and planning side of things. Thank you Simple Simon for being a part of making our wedding dreams come true!

We got cupcakes for our wedding and absolutely made the right choice with Simple Simon! The cupcakes were delicious. Dawn assisted me with picking the appropriate number of cupcakes for my guest count, and was even early to drop off the cupcakes. It was 90+ degrees on our wedding day and the cupcakes were in perfect condition. 100% recommend for any formal or casual event!

Went in there a couple times to discuss wedding cake and cupcake . Went to pick them up and Didn’t get what we discussed the first 2 times or during the consult .
The cake was supposed to have a sunflower and had a yellow poinsettia instead. With fondant which was specifically stated was not wanted.
The Cupcakes were supposed to have flowers on them. But were plain. We only hired them because we discussed this multiple times in advance to make sure they could do it with flowers. They were even shown a picture on the day of ordering again and still were blamed saying we didn’t order it that way. Said they could remake them but then she got upset when I said we were in oshkosh saying she’s not going to bring them to oshkosh . Nothing like putting all the blame on a customer. The Second visit there We even tried to order the cupcakes with flowers right then and there and they denied us saying we needed a full consult.
Last time I checked we could get plain cupcakes anywhere for much cheaper. I do not recommend this company at all. Especially if you want flowers on anything . And definitely don’t order a sunflower anything from them . Their resolution was “rewards points” to use for the future .

They are amazing! Not only extremely tasty desserts and pastries, but customer service here is at another level of awesome! They remade my son’s first birthday cake after we had to reschedule due to illness, at no extra charge. Customer for life!

Coconut cream filled donut (topped with shredded coconut) was unique and had a great taste. To my observation, they are the only bakery in the area that offers these. Super cool. Niche item.
The lemon filled powder donut was good too.
Both were good and would recommend. I deducted a star because there isn't very much filling inside their donuts. I picked up the lemon one, and it feels lightweight in your hand.
It would serve their business well if they discontinued using hydrogenated oils (cottonseed, palm and soybean oil), gums, high fructose corn syrup, and artifical dyes. (There are no local bakeries recently encountered that use quality alternatives for these ingredients in this area).
If Simple Simon were to change these couple things, I would add one more star, giving them an exceptional rating.

Always a great experience! One of the few true bakeries in the area.
Personally, I would not recomnend this establishment. Carrot cake over baked, no carrot taste, just spices not made for carrot cake. Icing way to sweet that had a mild soap taste thruout. Icing between layers was far to thick. Donuts-- lemon filled bismarks were made so high was difficult to get mouth open enough to eat. Lemon filling was great. Triple chocolate- made to high causing diffaculty getting mouth open wide enough to bite. Filling was not chocolate enough and quite grainy tasting. Cream cheese danish were quite tasty. Cookies were wonderful.

I ordered my daughters birthday cake, I requested a nutcracker sugar plum sheet cake with lots of pink. They exceeded my expectations! It turned out so adorable. Frosting was very yummy and cake was moist.

Normally I make cheesecake for holidays, birthdays, and family get togethers. This year I just didn't have the time or energy. On a whim I stopped in to see what pie selections Simple Simon had. The sales woman was friendly and informative. And the pies were wonderful. We had pumpkin, cherry, and strawberry rhubarb. They were a great addition to Thanksgiving. I will definitely buy again.

We were absolutely over the moon with our wedding cake from Simple Simon’s! The room they hold consultations in is great, decorated with plenty of fake cakes of various sizes so you can have a good idea of what different options look like (also every time we visited, we just had to stop in the bakery next door for one of their cupcakes!). We ended up going with raspberry almond in a 3-tier simple line design, and we received so many compliments on this cake! It was so moist and had such a great flavour. Would highly recommend.
