First visit and it was a cute place, perhaps better in warm weather. Service was ok, not excellent. They did accomodate a salad that was not on the Friday menu so that was appreciated. For me an engaging atmosphere and knowledge of menu and dietary request is important and that didn’t seem to be the case here. I would give it another try, but think I would end up with the same food as my diet is vegan. For seafood and meat lovers I’m sure it is great. Won’t hurry back, but the building is cute and would maybe just opt for a drink next time.

Visiting appleton and stopped for supper. The food was some of the best i have ever had. We got salmon and spat burger. It was delicious. Portion size was great. Just right. Price was reasonable. We may need to come into appleton more often! Thanks Spats🙂

Husband and I were in town to go to the Packers game and accidentally came across this place. The service was amazing, I had the Steak Diane with smashed baby reds and it was absolutely amazing. Will definitely visit again next time we are in town.

This place is fantastic. Plenty of atmosphere to go around. Clean restrooms, friendly staff, family friendly.
Food was excellent. All fresh ingredients and prepared perfectly. Staff was very friendly. Had the salmon and the fisherman’s stew and both were delicious. Old fashions were also good. Will definitely go back.

I have been to Spats in the past and have had no issues. We went in tonight to grab some food but we had been sitting there for 15 minutes after being sat and nobody had even come to get our drink and food order and we even asked the waitress to see if we could get somebody and we ended up just walking out. We were disappointed in the service to say the least.
