I always enjoy going here—friendly, upbeat staff and a clean store. Sadly, I’m writing a new review for this location. I’ve been coming here for years, and the last few times, their debit card machine hasn’t been working. You need to pay with either the app or cash at the drive-through. I don’t use the app anymore since I’m not close to a Starbucks like I used to be, and I don’t really use the rewards anymore. So, beware: if you do go here, make sure to either have the app or cash on hand. Also, the drive-through parking situation has gotten worse since they moved the drive-through speaker.

They were super busy and I had a but of a wait, but I was asked multiple times if I had ordered and what my order was. The last woman who asked was very sweet and made my drink and even wrote a sweet message. Very kind workers.

This just happened 30 minutes ago. I ordered and was charged for an ice chai with a pump of vanilla, sweet vanilla cold foam, and caramel drizzled lined and I also ordered another drink. However, the ice chai was a mocha. First of all, I can differentiate chais and mochas, chai’s aren’t bitter and I added additional sweetness to my drink. So why and how is my drink bitter if it’s a chai? Second of all, they weren’t busy, I came in around 5:00pm they close at 8:30. I get it we make mistakes but this is definitely not a mistake. The other drink came with the little receipt on the side; however, the drink they got wrong didn’t. Concluding, they purposely did not put it there because it wasn’t even the right drink. I used to be a barista and I get it, we have bad days and it can be annoying. Everyone does the world does not revolve around you. All in all, it’s still your job. Where are your morals? I’m paying for this drink. If it wasn’t for customers, Starbucks would die. If customers aren’t buying your drinks, you wouldn’t be getting paid. Not just Starbucks, literally almost everywhere. Do your job right, be a decent human being and give the real drink.

Worst experience in ridiculous wait times. Waited 20min with one vehicle ahead of us and then they got our order wrong. Will definitely not be stopping here again. (brought it to my daughter, and it was still wrong)

Not usually very busy inside. Not lots of tables inside either, but enough. Shelves with merchandise and clean inside. Very busy drive through in the mornings with an odd entrance off a reasonably busy street into a one way street besides the entrance to the coffee shop. A weird, unfortunate entry, but it works well enough. The expensive coffee is good with the usual inch or two of space or foam at the top of the cup or an iced drink with more ice than drink and your smashed breakfast sandwich with the top sliding off, but that seems also to be pretty standard these days...
Parking: Parking lot is a little odd, too, connected to another on a sort of hill or slant, and theres parking that is blocked by the drive through, but there is free parking. I imagine it's better when there's not a line at the drive through. This location seems to be more drive through than stop in, in my experience.

Girl working at window said we couldn’t get hot chais with cold foam which I just know isn’t true I’ve gotten it before at almost every single Starbucks I’ve been to. Like ik it’s nonstandard because it melts but that’s definitely not a company rule and if I had ordered it on the app it would have accepted it.

Nov 18th 24, look at that a whole month later and here I am again.
This location is horrendous, they need corporate intervention. Because clearly the current manager just can't get it done.
Or they just don't care.
This location consistently ignores customers, they will not say a damn thing to you 90% of the time, they'll glare at you left and right but they will not acknowledge you.
When they do they give you an attitude because they're busy, yeah well that's the job pretty sure you knew that when you've applied for it, if you can't handle it get a different job Don't give people attitude because your job is busy at the moment, we all have busyness at our jobs and we don't get to give customers attitude.
Take some actual pride in your job.
Furthermore they don't pay attention to the orders for shit. They consistently put delivery orders as in shops and vice versa, they also don't label the bags half the time. This is not a hard job, I have worked very similar jobs and I assure you it is not a hard job It may be a busy and tedious job but it is not a hard job, do your damn jobs.
That includes the manager, if your employees cannot do their jobs as required then you should find new employees. There is no reason that A drink should take 10 minutes when there's no one in the store, there's no reason that I should be standing there 10 minutes with nobody asking me what I need or what I'm looking for, if I have been helped, if I'm waiting to place an order, if my order isn't there and should be, something.
If I was the franchise owner I would close the store and fire half of the employees at this point. You are not doing your owner anything favors.
Oct 18th 24, wow look at that 2 days later and they're still doing it. Prioritizing your drive-thru over your third party delivery is a violation of your contracts with third party delivery. If a customer has paid for their order their order should be made before any new orders end of story, your corporate agrees with me cuz I've already talked to them and I'll be making another call since it's so difficult for you guys to understand this.
You don't prioritize the drive-thru just because they are there at the store, every customer should be treated equally It doesn't matter how they order, first come gets served first end of story this is basic customer service at any restaurant or coffee house, this is first day stuff figure it out
Oct 16th 24, I have been waiting over 10 mins for an order that was supposed to be ready. There are NO in shops. The employees completely ignored myself and another customer to prioritize drive through. When one of us asked for an ETA on the orders we were snapped at that the drinks are being worked on.
Shortly after That happened, the employee made a comment to another employee about how she's completely over DoorDash deliveries, okay so you're deliberately not making our orders because you're sick of your own job? Then you probably shouldn't be working here. I will be putting a call into your manager so have fun with that.

I've been a faithful Starbucks customer for 15+yrs. Northland Ave has the worst customer service of all stores I've visited. They are notorious for ignoring the patrons standing right in front of them, while I watch car after car get served at the drive-through. The first 2 times this happened, I ignored it, but now I will stop going to this location. I ordered one simple drink and purchased a new cup. The cups were all in a bin with a general 30% sign on the bin. The salesperson was very short when she rang me up and I asked, "Was this cup indeed 30% off?" She replied, "Don't worry, I rang it up at the right price. " WOW. And how was I to know, because you're never offered a receipt, OR a thank you. I waited 17 minutes for my one drink as well as 2 other customers next to me, in an empty store with a busy drive-thru. Shame on you Starbucks. This is why your coffee franchise is struggling in many ways. Get back to the basics. And hurry.

This was a wonderful Starbucks! We had accurate , fast, friendly service. The barista was very thorough in repeating our order to confirm accuracy. We had the iced pumpkin chia and it was delicious! He worked very efficiently to get our drinks made. He was also very personable and carried on a nice conversation with us.

Stood there for twenty minutes staring at the order that I was supposed to pick up knowing that it was ready yet it was not being bagged. Watching everybody else's orders get bagged and sent out before the one that I was picking up. Finishing and sending orders off in the order in which they come in is typical practice, but apparently not here. I know this to be fact because I could see my three items waiting to be bagged plain As day and I watched them put multiple other items up and bag them ahead of mine.
