Sorry, the food was really bad. I didn't even eat half of it. The gyro was dry and cold even with extra sauce, the cheese curds were cold and not appetizing at all. I have wanted to go to this restaurant, but now I don't want to.

Craving a traditional Chicago dog, I was excited to find this hole in the wall restaurant on my lunch. Unfortunately the food was mediocre at best. The onion rings were over cooked and not quality checked. An entire end of an onion was fried, not to mention unedible, and took up a bulk of the ring order. The bun on my Chicago dog was chewy, the dog itself was lukewarm like it sat on a roller grill, and the toppings were the cheapest version of every condiment you can buy. While the restaurant was cute and the staff very polite, I was really disappointed by the quality of the food.

Ordered a Gyro combo and an Italian beef combo and it came to $28. I took a trip to Chicago last week and stopped by Johhnies Italian Beef. The difference is night and day between that and the Taste of the Windy City. I think what throws off the Italian beef for the Windy City is the bread. A different type of bread was used in the city. The Gyro was decent, above average. Fries and onion rings were fresh and hot. The portion on the onion rings were kind of sad so be aware when you order them. The service was top notch. 2 gentleman working who spoke with manners and served fast with a decent crowd plus Uber eats orders. I would maybe stop back because my go to spot is Chicago grill more towards downtown Appleton. Will do a review on them soon!

I was looking for some Vienna Beef on my way home from Green Bay. This place came up and I decided to stop.

The food was fantastic. I had an Italian Beef sandwich and fries. Both were hot, fresh and tasty.

This will be a regular stop when in the area.

We always have such a great experience anytime we come here. The staff is very nice and the food is always amazing and a good portion size/ price. Highly recommend! The gyro is my favorite. ?

Italian beef was phenomenal! Employees were nice. Food was quick. Facilities were clean. Great lunch type atmosphere

Parking: Came with a big truck and 30ft horse trailer and pulled in. Had to squeeze around to get through not knowing it had a tiny lot meant for cars only. Parked across the way on the side of street.
