Food and coffee are very good. Atmosphere is somewhat like a cafeteria, a very expensive cafeteria. Waited a very long time for the coffee, food had been cold for a very long time before we got it

Really tasty lavender honey latte. Food was ok. I had the smoked salmon w eggs and potatoes. Mom had avocado toast. Good place to stop in and not worry about leftovers. Lattes are always a pain to carry; maybe get to-go cup if differently-abled or if you shake or have balance issues bc those cups are wide and easy to spill. Good place for quiet conversations w views of water. Lots of nice plants. Bathroom was clean.Vegetarian options: Not a giant menu but veggie options. Also, there are tasty vegan cookies in the case

Great spot on the riverfront. Fyi: it's noisy inside! I don't see any soundproofing in this concrete box.

Perfect little coffee spot right on the Fox river. There's lots of indoor and outdoor seating, very clean, they actually play good music, and the coffee is spectacular. We ordered a vanilla latte and the lava salt caramel latte. They have a good variety of food options but we opted for a breakfast burrito and breakfast biscuit. The owners are so nice and the service was quick. Can't wait to come back!

We went on a saturday morning probably like 10am so it was super busy. The line didn't take long to get through though but it was really hard to find somewhere comfortable to sit and eat. The food tasted amazing but definitely over priced in my opinion. I also got a iced matcha and it was really good. tbh more like a 3.5 because it was just to much at once going on and pricey. But if you're into the whole overpriced avocado toast, do some work in a coffee shop vibe then I recommend it.

Update: they don't do pour overs on the weekends apparently. My interaction with the baristas was rather poor. The first one acted annoyed that I asked for one and I chose to leave. I was on a walk and came back when they were less busy and asked if they had time to make one and at first this other barista was going to but then still someone barked at him that they are not doing pour overs on the weekends and he was not allowed to sell me one. The whole incident had me feeling embarrassed. I said that it seemed rather ridiculous to me but that only seemed to irritate the barista who was checking me out. Even more awkward. I ended up paying almost $4 for deep 8oz of drip coffee that tastes pretty bad. I've been coming here for years but I will certainly avoid coming back here from now on, neighbor or not.Don't come here if you want a pour over, three times I've been refused one because they're too busy to make you coffee at a coffee shop. Baked goods have been bad. Prices are steep. Still a cute place with good people but there are a lot of better alternatives now.

First time visiting today, February 12, 2024. We dine in. The environment was clean, the service was great, and the food and coffee were really good. Problem: The female worker kept blowing her nose without washing her hands.

We love Tempest! It feels like a secret in Appleton that people don’t know about. It’s an escape in its location down on the river.Their team is all so friendly and accommodating, the vibe is cool, and we’ve always enjoyed our beverages and food.

Cute little coffee place on the river. Great walking trail along the river and to a park. I got a B.L.A.T, which was mouth watering good. Green tea was yummy with honey. Great place to chill.

The breakfast burrito was fresh and everything u are hoping for from a breakfast burrito. The perfect blend of egg, bacon and potato. We also got a Iced honey latte that was delicious! The atmosphere is amazing, beautiful decor and the scenery is a sight to be seen. We highly recommend Tempest coffee collective

Nice atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating along the Fox River. Owner was on-site and very personable. We took time to walk the paved path along the river too.

Very nice place for breakfast, but very small. The baristas are skilled and the menu is varied for such a small restaurant. Smoked salmon and potatoes were delicious.

One of my two favorite coffee shops in Appleton. Excellent food, coffee, and riverfront views. Make sure to walk along the trail after your brunch.
