The owner gave us a wrong dish and didn’t even apologize for their error. they tacked on the gratuity and told me they didn’t and I paid double the amount in gratuity. Their receipt they gave me had no signature line for me to sign, it didn’t even give me a break down of what we purchased, they only showed us what was originally written by our waitress. The food wasn’t to our liking, but it’s good enough for the people of Appleton.

My absolute favorite restaurant! Food is fantastic!, I love the summer egg rolls and the pad see ew with tofu. Their coconut curry based dishes are very good too. Ginger tea is wonderful! It gets busy on the weekend so it may be good to make a reservation, but they always fit us in even without a reservation.

My wife and I (local residents) have visited Thai Ginger Bistro a number of times in the past and have always enjoyed the dining experience. It was lunchtime, so we brought friends from out of state to enjoy some Thai cuisine (visited August 2023). Both my wife and my friend's wife (both Thai and excellent Thai cooks) said their expectations were met. We each had different menu items. Even though the wait staff was a bit challenged with the almost full house, the wait time was not too bad. Paiboon and Penny always do a great job of giving a great cultural food experience. Our friends loved both the food and the dining experience and said it is one they will remember for a long time.

This was some of the best Thai food we’ve ever had! The yellow curry and drunken noodles were our favorite of everything we got. It was a game weekend and busy, I would recommend getting reservations as we had a 45 minute wait on a Saturday night around 6:30.

Omg. The menu is phenomenal. So many great selections. The Thai Basil fried rice was my favorite. Had it with shrimp. Plenty of food to take home too. Big portion sizes. Soooo good.

Food was just mid to me. Very flavorful but the fried rice seemed to soft to me idk. Thai iced tea was too sweet. It was $12 for the summer rolls and they were 2 small rolls cut in half. Everything’s pretty expensive. Go to basil cafe for peak thai food in appleton. Also not technically a bistro. Very big portions though and nice plating!
