The particular server we had may have been having a bad day. They have bagels but no cream cheese. They don't have fruit. The coffee was good. Check out was confusing. There are two registers and add we stood at the wind one our server said, a bit gruff, the register is over there.

Was recommended to eat here by a hotel guest services representative. I came in and sat down since it was self seating. Waitress asked what I wanted to drink and I asked for coffee. She came back with coffee and asked if I was ready to order. I asked for a few more minutes which turned into 10 mins or more (maybe?). I had to flag her down and asked to give my order. It really wasnt busy I was under the impression she was doting on her regular customers. I finally got my food. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with hash browns and 2 eggs over easy, rye toast with a side of Bacon which was extra. The chicken fried steak and gravy were delicious and you cant really mess up eggs. However the rye toast was burnt and the hash browns were bland .. no seasoning no spice or onions.. the bacon was ok but not worth the $4 for 3 slices.. as I love a good local diner or hole in the wall place to eat .. this diner was mediocre at best.. I'd try another restaurant next time ..

South of the border omelet was excellent!! Perfectly cooked and potatoes were great as well! Waitress was very attentive and friendly and the place had a very mild atmosphere so noise levels where very low which was nice.

This diner offers great food with a welcoming atmosphere. While service can slow down during rush hours, it's still manageable. It’s been a while since I last visited, and I’m glad to see it’s still affordable, even with a slight price increase.

The food was well-prepared, served warm, and packed with flavor. Seating is self-serve—keep an eye out for tables with a green sign, as those are available. I wasn’t sure how it worked at first, but a kind customer helped me find my way.

Great Old school Diner nextdoor to Appleton Travel plaza

Cozy diner, friendly/welcoming staff, good food, & walking distance from truck stop/parking. Meat skillet & pancakes were delicious. South of the border skillet tastes a little north of the border 🤣 stick to American diner classics.

Fries are amazing, burrito and omelet were well made but aggressively under seasoned, coffee not as good as other diner style places. Service was top notch

It's ok. Very country breakfast style for those who enjoy that type. The more finicky of us are destine to watch what oils, fats, and types of foods that may be offered.
