It was a cool experience but it was pretty expensive for what you get. I have a gluten intolerance and even though I took precautions to order the gluten free version of the cheese dip and gluten free bread there was still a reaction when we got our steak plater. The waitress told me the teriyaki steak contained gluten and just cooking it in the same pot was enough to trigger me. Plus I think I may have eaten a piece on accident from the pot. So be very careful if you have gluten issues on what you order. My husband also forgot his credit card after check out and the staff was great to let us pick it up early the following day.

The dishes were dirty, like chunks on the skillet. The cheese had so much garlic we couldn't eat it. The nuts they put on top of the salad weren't good either. Couldn't get the heat top to work right and we either burned the food and it was still raw or nothing would cook at all. They put so much seasoning on the meat that it was just overpowering. Will not be going back.

Our server Angel at first took the time to get to know our table and shortly after we got our second half of the portion, we over heard her explain to another table how she liked them because they were “chill” but complained about our 8 top. I thought that was so disrespectful as we could hear her, she then set down the chocolate and told us she’ll come back for extra dippers and never did, we felt super rushed and she ran to us and dropped off our bill without checking with us first considering we have more chocolate to spare. With a high bill I think it was very disrespectful and a disappointing experience as we felt so rushed. We were celebrating something so special and we’ve never felt this turned down before. I’ve come here before and had the best service so this was insane to deal with. I expect with the money that is being spent we would at least get good service.

The front door has a low overhead arm, my fiancé hit his head hard on it when we walked in. The lighting is dark so it is hard to see. He fell down after hitting it and multiple people at the hostess table watched and did not come see if he was okay while he was on the ground. Yes he is tall but it hangs below the doorframe. It happens but someone could have at least come ask if he was okay after watching him fall.

Had dinner tonight at the melting pot for the first time. Abby B. was our waitress, she seemed knowledgeable and had a great personality. Dinner was fabulous, but she was the cherry on top. We will recommend & return!!!
