Went to Melting Pot to enjoy a birthday dinner for 2. We ordered drinks and they took 30 minutes to come out, and the drinks were so strong we would've been better off if the bar kept them. After we had asked where they were. The food was mediocre. Apps were alright along with the salad. The entree was enjoyable in flavor, but it took too long to come out, our broth was in front of us bubbling for at least 15-20 minutes before our server came back. And like I said the flavor was enjoyable for the entree, but nothing special about it. I understand the point of having an experience to go along with a meal but it truly wasn't there tonight. Truly felt bad about myself for spending 170 dollars on a meal that was supposed to be special. We sat for around 10 minutes waiting for our bill, while another table next to us had been seated for 20-25 minutes without a server yet or even water on the table. Experiences may vary, but we will not be back to try again.

Great Fondue experience! We enjoyed the Classic four course meal. I thought the marinades overtook the taste of meat, so all that you tasted was pepper, not steak, teriyaki, not steak. The dessert course was basic, delicious, but basic. Our server was fantastic! Thank you Caleb!

Very disappointed that two people for a 4 course share a pot, then add another person for $60 and they also have to share a pot with them they don’t get another pot. This is why we did not have enough cheese or chocolate fondue for all of us. For me going my first time tonight I would never go back and let others know if they have a party of three my experience also. For $200 plus for 3 people there are many other restaurants in the Fox Valley you get better food for much much less! Waist of money in my opinion!

Evan (the bartender) and Luke (our server) were absolutely phenomenal. Date night without kids, and the evening had issue after issue. They insisted we ended up leaving home late and unfortunately not arriving until 8:15. Both gentlemen reassured us multiple times that we were not a burden, and to just relax and enjoy our evening. We live over an hour away and will be returning because of these 2 fine, young gentleman. 10/10 recommend this location.

July 2025 Visited with my family for the Thursday deal. Half price martinis were good and just a real good dinner. They do it a little different than they use to- cheese comes already mixed but meat comes with the sauces and dessert was good too- no complaints. Kids are also a discount I think $25 for the kids and $36 for the adult deal night with three courses! Eight years prior:Expensive but a different type of experience. I liked it. The four course is fun. Pot of cheese, unlimited veggies/sides. salad, meat with different dipping sauces and then a chocolate pot to finish with a good variety of yummy desert sides to dip - cheesecake is my favorite :)
We come here fairly frequently and right now as we are sitting in our seats, I'm a corner booth away from everyone else in an empty restaurant.....the service is atrocious. Sat here for almost 15 mins before anyone acknowledged us. I stood up multiple times trying to get someone's attention and no one apparently cares. For the amount of money spent at a place like this....you're far below the standard. We could probably get better service at taco bell for 10x less than we would spend here.

Came here for our daughter’s 7th birthday, it was A+++ from the start! Great food and atmosphere, but the star of the night was our server Courtney. She was by far the best server we have had at the Melting pot. She was prompt, attentive and just fantastic. Thanks for making our girls birthday amazing!
