We were informed when we checked in to the hotel on Dec. 27, that the restaurant (Chequamegon Grill) was closed for the winter season.)
Went there for the sunset. Drinks were a little more but the atmosphere and view was worth it.

Resturant is permanently closed! Dissapointed!
Food was good and not overly expensive. I had great service, Food came fast and the server was there to ask if I needed refills or anything before I thought to ask. Scenery added a nice touch.

We arrived on a Friday evening ready for a good old-fashioned Wisconsin fish fry. Unfortunately they were not serving fish...on a Friday. What? According to google, this place is suppose to have one of the best. Never experienced something like this before. I assume the management is lacking. The ambience was blah. There was nothing exciting or welcoming about the place. The location was right on the water so they got that going for them, but that's about it. Hopefully someone will take over and turn things around. The hostess/waitress was apologetic and gave us info on some other places serving fish.
Great food. Great people & service.

Walk right in to eat frozen pizza. The kitchen staff walked out, so the current limited menu is premade cheese, or pepperoni or deluxe pizza or Cobb Salad. The view is great and so are the drinks.

We checked into the hotel on a Friday and were promptly informed about the prime rib served on Saturday. When we arrived for dinner on Saturday, we were informed that two cooks failed to show up so only items from the front of the menu were available. Of course the prime rib I wanted was on the back. We were told that most of the customers were not eating there because of the special wasn't available. We decided to stay. We each had a Woodford old fashioned. The drink was wonderful and reasonably priced ($8 for the drink + $2 for Woodford Reserve). My wife ordered a burger and I ordered the quinoa salad. of course we shared so we could both enjoy both entrees (we always share!) After ordering my wife tried to change the fries for a house salad. The waitress told her she couldn't do that. My wife offered to pay the difference and again the waitress told her she would have to pay full price for a salad even if she didn't take the fries.
Whitefish was delicious!

The view was good. The food was great. Our waitress was new but did a decent job.
Wonderful food and presentation.
Great service with an excellent view.
Food was ok, we sat on the deck and loved the atmosphere. Service was slow.
