Best Pizza anywhere and Great service! We were staying nearby for an Upland hunting trip. We ate at this restaurant 3 evenings in a row. I couldn't get enough of their Pizza! My only complaints is they wouldn't share their recipes with me and closed early in the evenings from I am accustomed to back home.
We stopped in to order a half sausage/pepperoni and half sausage/onion pizza.
We got... Half pepperoni/onion and sausage/pepperoni. There was more pepperoni on the half that wasn't supposed to have any on and not much sausage.
Also my husband ordered a water and got a Sprite!
The pizza was pretty good, would have been a whole lot better if they would have gotten the right combo. (Took 40 minutes)
stick to pizza. best thing about Hugo's. other meals are lacking...in flavor, and in warmth. our food was cold, rubbery, like it was reheated in the microwave. makes me wonder who got it first. when we complained, the waitress avoided us, but eventually took ONE meal off the bill !!
we've been there before, ( many times) and the foods were good. I think they're training a new cook??? )
