Love Nimrods! We come up to Asthelstane once a year to do some Atving. Nimrods is always a highlight of our trip. Bar staff is great. Friday fish fry is amazing! We love the salad bar and gizzards are well known across northern Wisconsin. Never left disappointed!
It was our first time trying Nimrod's and it was very good. Had to wait for a table on a Sunday night about 20-30 minutes. They have a nice sized bar area where we waited with some drinks for our table. Once seated service was good and the food was amazing. I had the family style broasted chicken. Tasted like having Thanksgiving dinner at Grandma's house. It was homemade and everything was spot on including the chicken which was crispy but not too greasy, mashed potatoes...
Double check your bill. Wife and I had 1/2 chicken special for Thursday with salad bar for 15.00 each. 2 sodas and bill was 70.00 dollars. Didn't realize we're over charged until back at our motel.
