⭐️ 1 Star — Worst Experience I’ve Ever Had

We’ve had the pleasure—or more accurately, the displeasure—of encountering the owner of Timmers in Bagley, Wisconsin on two separate occasions: once as customers inside the bar, and another time outside over a completely unnecessary parking dispute. Even when the bar isn’t open, the owner seems to go out of his way to cause problems — taking pictures of license plates and calling the cops on people simply for parking near his building.

Inside, the service is below casual and far from professional. It doesn’t feel like you’re a valued customer at all — more like a burden the owner has to tolerate. To make matters worse, if you have any allergies or even mild sensitivity to cats, do not go here. There are cats walking freely around the bar, on the countertops, barstools, and even near the food area. The level of cleanliness is, frankly, unacceptable.

It’s clear the owner is bitter that Luckey’s Bar across the street draws the local crowd — and that’s exactly where I’d recommend everyone go instead. Save yourself the headache, skip Timmers entirely, and join the rest of the folks who know better and head to Luckey’s.

Absolutely the worst bar experience I’ve ever had.

Very nice owner/cook/barkeeper. We had fried cheese curds and a round of ice cold beers after an afternoon hike with best friends at Wyalusing State Park.

This place looks like it would be a great dive bar with friendly staff. Absolutely not. The bartender/owner was annoyed we showed up at 6pm on a Friday in June to order food. (they are a bar and grill). The food is nothing amazing, average fried mozz sticks and the burgers are small for the $10.50 price tag compared to their competition bar across the street. With that being said, go across the street.. they have great staff and great food.

An oasis for the thirsty/hungry traveler. There's a piece of decor for everyone. The furry, domestic companions inside are sure to warm the heart.

This is the most delightful small town bar in really incredibly beautiful scenery. The owner, also tending, wasn't irritated in the slightest by all my questions about the really great collection of trinkets he has obviously collected through his own travels. At some point another guy came and helped turn out some food (also ate here, the homemade fries are truly made with love) and we chatted for a minute as well. All in all I highly recommend taking a beverage and or food break here if you are out on a ride or a leisurely drive... Or better yet just plan a day drive around stopping here. The mask and Pearl (the fish) stood out to me, the rest you will have to come and experience yourself.
