OMG - awesome dinners!! John was our Server and he truly did an amazing job! He was super attentive and didn’t let any glass go empty. My husband said the escargot were the best he’d ever had, followed by the beef cheeks which were great as well. I enjoyed baked cod which was super light and fluffy with a super tasty crust…. Highly recommended!!

Great atmosphere but the food was just OK. The pit beef was very fatty. The fries were standard and the cheese curds were average.

We had a delicious dinner of Chicken Marsala and Fresh Whitefish. The staff was lovely and the decor, beautiful

We had 6:00 reservations. Waiter came for drink order and dinner order 30 minutes later. Orders placed and 5 minutes later told pork special no longer available. Ordered the chicken Marsala. Waited 35 minutes to get more water. Chicken was very dry and no waiter to be found. Finally came by to check another 30 minutes later. Told him and he walked away. Looked for the manager after eating it since we were all hungry and no one came by. She said we are training people. No I am sorry, just thanks for letting me know. We have been there before and will never go back. It is not a way to treat customers. Decided to not order anything else and go elsewhere. Our bill was over $100 and not worth it.

Four years ago we went to an amazing meal at HARBOR FISH MARKET down the street. This time we thought we’d try the #2 restaurant in town, but quickly realized it’s no different than the #19 restaurant in town…of 19 restaurants in town…. There was nothing special about the meal or experience. This place is ripe for competition to ruin their backup alternative to the best, and honestly only, quality restaurant in town. On a Thursday night in shoulder season when the place was low on guests, the food took forever. Wife’s cosmo tasted strangely like banana!?! Waiter didn’t know if they could make an espresso martini. Had to encourage him to find out, and that should’ve been the tip off. Both drinks were off, should’ve been skipped altogether. Meals took forever to come out, the kids even mentioned how much time it was taking for the food and now long they’ve been waiting (over an hour). And then their pasta came out - the two that ordered the pasta said it didn’t taste good. Plain pasta, and it didn’t even taste good? And my wife agreed, ‘how do you mess up pasta?’ Wine…wines by the glass didn’t have any descriptors or details, only a listing of grapes. How can one order a wine without knowing anything of the region, vintage, or maker? After many inquiries with a few additional details provided, I chose between the lesser of the two (red wine) evils, but per Indiana Jones, ‘You chose poorly!’ The right choice would’ve been to skip the wine. $44 for 4 small scallops…$11/scallop. Granted we’re far from scallop waters, but the whitefish was priced only a few dollars less at $38, and it was just ok. Also, the waiter eliminated one of the sides that it was supposed to come with upon a substitution, without informing us, Oh, and $40 for the salmon special, that only costs $8 to make. Grossly overpriced. The table behind us was a group of 6 too and before our bill arrived we heard them complain that the tip was already included and they couldn’t actually give an appropriate tip based on the service and experience. Couldn’t agree more. The ‘6 or more mandatory tip’ saved this sorry excuse for an upscale meal from a deplorable tip, and by that I mean 10%… Not a meal my great, great, great, great grandparents (residents of Bailey’s Harbor 150 years ago) would’ve been satisfied with. This place is riding on their ‘right place / right time’ in an exploding town of popularity for tourists, but it’s sadly, sadly overrated. (This coming from a well-traveled tourist.) Patrons - go to anywhere but here - oh wait, but then you’d miss out on the amazing butter with the bread…that’s ok as it’s not worth the nearly $300 bill. Restauranteurs - please move to Bailey’s Harbor, this place needs competition to either force them to step up their game, or get shut down.

We reserved a table at the last minute and got outside dining without heater. The evening was a bit chilly but we were dressed appropriately and felt comfortable. Service was a bit slow but staff were welcoming and friendly. The baked cod special was just that--special. I would rate it 10 of 10. The mussels were not quite as good but still at least 7 of 10. Overall, we had a good experience that matched our previous dinners at this restaurant. Highly recommend if you are on the quiet side of the peninsula.

We ordered daily salad, very good; blackened chicken sandwich, very good; and truffle fries, fair. The fries basically had Parmesan and a huge glob of mayo- no fresh herbs or truffle flavor. Wish I would have taken a picture. The space is beautiful, different seating options - picnic tables - Adirondack chairs. The salad came from one side (green truck - looks like a building not a truck) and the hot food from the red truck.

Had the pit beef sandwich. Wow! Very good it's a must go.

Lots of flies, food was soggy and greasy, no ranch, and bartender had an attitude.

Sam Young

Food was bad soggy buns on burger, no ranch like #noranch, flys all over tables, burger full of pepper and the ketchup had more flavor, $12 drink with a bit of attitude. Don’t recommend.

We came to Chive’s door county for our anniversary. We ordered ribeye and the filet, and both were way over cooked. The waiter did not even ask how everything was, never came back so we didn’t have a chance to send them back. Eventually he came back with our $200 bill and still never asked how our meal was. The desert and drinks were very good but overall Chive’s Green Bay is much better!

It is what it says, Food Trucks, each truck in permanent area. Different trucks for breakfast, lunch, pizza etc. Inside and outside seating. Lots of shade. Staff are great, friendly and personable. Service was fast and food was very good.

Nice spot, pretty good food, but wayyyyy too overpriced. Its cisco frozen food, but for over 20 dollars no matter what you buy, hell an 8 oz cocktail is like 14 bucks, for 8 oz... if your local dont bother.

This is our first time but we'll come again and again. The atmosphere is great - eating outside - food was excellent and plentiful.

Great little "food truck." While this is more of a permanent food truck and building, it is right next to the Chive restaurant. We stopped there when driving through on a July weekend. While busy, it was certainly not overly crowded at around lunchtime. Walked up the stairs, ordered, found a table and then waited for our name to be called. We ordered the Pit Beef and the Fish Sandwich with cheese curds and a round of drinks. All of it was delicious and I would certainly return! Great lunchtime meal in Bailey's Harbor.
