The food is very good and you get lots of it. However, the service is lacking. I ate there twice in 24 hours. The service in the first evening was poor. Very slow to even bring the check. The service around noon the next day was okay. We did get refills on the drinks which was nice, but have definitely got better service elsewhere. I came in for company lunch as they recommended the burgers. Becky was my server and she was great! Had the endless ribs they were tender and fell off the bone. Simply good service and good food
I've been Doc's a few times, and out of a bar in Polk county it's pretty surprising on how good the food is, but being balsam lake I'd expect just a tad bit better. When I go to Docs I typically order pizza, but it's not just any pizza it's good pizza which lets face it no bar in the area minus Club 35 serves good pizza, it's all just frozen thin crust non-sense, but I really haven't had a complaint for any time I've been to Doc's.
