Thirsty Otter Tavern and Resort

Sat ay the outside bar area and it was a beautiful day, service was great and food was good.

Typical resort bar. Service was friendly, food was all pretty good, burgers, salads, nachos and gluten free pizza.

Have you ever eaten a burger and said to yourself, wow this tastes like the cafeteria in high school. Then you think to yourself , actually , I think the cafeteria in high school might have tasted better. That really encompasses the entire experience that whole table had. We had 8 guests and of those guests.Only two items actually tasted good. Amazing It's so busy there. It's clearly due to lack of options.

Eggs Benedict was great as was the breakfast wrap. Our server was very attentive and friendly. If you can get a seat on the patio/deck ...go for it, it's beautiful and relaxing. Inside seating is pretty industrial.

Walked in, sat down and waited, and waited and waited. A bigger table was being served right when they got there, and even though the server mad eye contact with us we still waited. A few other tables were complaining to. After about 30 minutes, we decided to leave and walk to another bar and grill up the street that served us right away.

Arie, the bartender, had her friends in there and left my glass empty for 20 minutes. Best part is - I was the only one at the bar! Service was pathetic, food was okay. Management needs to step in.

Awesome spot on the water. Great vibes. Didn't love the Nachos. Came caked in some weird texture nacho cheese with a loaf of large chunk leaf lettuce. Waffles fries are a must!

Came out from St Paul on May 13, Bingo night. 5pm and packed. Perfect night to sit on the deck. Greeted by the only server Natalie, with a smile. It was only her and the bartender. She did an amazing job covering the restaurant grabbing the beers and making sure the food was delivered hot. The bacon burger was great, 1/2 pound hand pressed and you could taste the smoke on the bacon. The staff nailed it on a busy night. May have waited here and there but the food was good and the service was great. Natalie did a great job representing the restaurant and is a true asset to the team.

Had a great experience at Thirsty Otter Tavern! Delicious food, surprisingly quick wait time for our Bachelorette Pickle group of 7, an awesome waitress, and an amazing bartender! Plus, the live music from Wayward was wonderful and made the night even better. Definitely recommend!
