My husband has a chicken piccata a I had the spaghetti with a lemon sauce. That was delicious. I am vegan and this restaurant was able to accommodate me our second night we decided to try something different and we went to the Kalahari. My husband had a State Dallas twice the price and he was not satisfied after we left the restaurant at the Kalahari we came back to this restaurant and I bought my husband a steak that was cheaper, more satisfying and more delicious. The staff is very friendly. We met the owner Mike, who personally came to our table and greeted us. Mike is also the chef.

Saturday night, we had the prime rib, it was good. As with most places these days they seemed short staffed but our server did a good job. She was serving all of the tables while being "pretty pregnant". She deserves a raise ?

My boyfriend and I come here on Friday nights for fish. The food is always very good, but the Friday night service is always terrible. I understand being short staffed, but the service has always been so unorganized and not managed well. The young boy that does seating and bussing has always been a pleasure and needs a raise!!! We really enjoy the food here but the chances of us coming back because of the service is getting pretty slim. You could tell that the tables seated before us were irritated because they had to wait to order after us, so they got up and left. Another table that was sat after us, never got greeted so they got up and left. The table next to us was upset because they waited so long for their bill. The server needs to be better at multi tasking and managing her tables needs. Where is the management at this place???

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and patrons, fish (cod) was perfectly cooked and delicious. Homemade slaw was top notch as well. Add in the $5 draft beer and thats a great night out!

Ellie is a Rock Star!!!....From where I was sitting there was about 7-9 groups of people in the restaurant/bar. Also in the restaurant/ bar there was ONLY one Ellie... She did an awesome job as a hostess, bar back, waitress, server, and bus gal. From what I can tell she gave all the attention that was needed to all parties.Again awesome job Ellie.

so we left a breakfast event that was catered by glacier Rock because the food was so disgusting. most everything was cold, dried out, hard as a rock. Advertised rainbow pancakes and waffles but there were none.
Not like old owners. Staff struggles. Closed by 9 pm. Used to be swamped. Food very average and prices on menue and on board different. Half of menue is no longer available. No wonder no one there.

Gross, food sucks and the service is worse. No fountain drinks very little beer on tap. This place seems to be going out of business. Prime rib is weeks old and tough on the teeth. Server on Saturday night was a complete a-hole, avoid this place at all costs, it’s not worth it even if they are giving it away

Disappointing. It took an extremely long time to get our main course and it did not seem to be that busy on a Thursday evening.When the food did arrive, the steaks did not appear to have been seared at all so they were gray. The menu is not as it is shown online.

Food here is always excellent. They are having alittle service trouble due to being short staffed. I only saw one server. She was working 3 rooms and did a great job considering how busy she was! I felt sorry for her, but she kept smiling and giving great service!

Food was horrible! Fish was over cooked and i asked for new fish and the sent the new stuff out overdone. My brothers shrimp were overcooked. The waitress was good unfortunately they didn't have a good cook! I will never eat here again!
