“We moved away from Baraboo 11 years ago. We never forgot the Little Village Cafe. We were back again tonight and were blown away by the edamame dumplings. The chicken special was better than anything I could get in the big city. And the key lime pie was superb. Will be back again soon. Love, love, love this place.”

“Amazing food and generous portions! Food is priced well for the amount you get. Staff was super friendly. We got there at 630pm in the off season on a Saturday night and we're surprised at how busy it was! We only had a 20 minute wait for a party of 5. This is definitely on our list if we're looking to go out to eat when we're in the area. There's plenty on the menu to choose from. Very impressed!”

“All the reviews are correct! This place is off the hook! ! This place is great based on service- quality of food- quantity of food- and service. They just do a great job here all the way around. If you are with family and or friends, and say you came into town to take in the attractions like the circus, don’t run off… like seriously treat yourself to a great place. The food prices are very reasonable- the service is great- the staff is very professional and kind. If you ask for advice on what to order and they all know their menu… the pizza is amazing. The burgers are fantastic. The French dig is very good. If I were to recommend something I would say either the bone in or boneless wings, and I would recommend their french dip sandwich. The fries I believe are homemade? If they aren’t, I just know they are awesome.

FYI, my phone took a crap so I lost a lot of my photos/ next time I go here I will get pics posted along with this review.

“My wife and I took the distillery tour and really enjoyed it. It's a very cool building and very cool process. Our tour guide Alex was kind and knowledgeable. The tasting was delicious. We then had lunch at the restaurant trying the Duck confi flatbread as an appetizer and I had the oaken margarita and definitely recommend both. Their cocktails are all unique to the restaurant. and this is the place to try something outside your comfort zone. I definitely recommend coming. Be adventurous with their menu, you won't be disappointed.”

“Excellent explanations by the staff of the winery and wines, great vibes overlooking the hills, and they had live music outside on a Sunday afternoon! The hummus platter was plentiful for 4 people as a snack!”

“Stopped in for lunch while staying near by, was pleasantly surprised with this above average chicken shop. Fast food style restaurant, chicken sandwiches were great for us adults but my kids were not as impressed by their chicken strip baskets.”

“Great little blue collar bar! Laura was our tender/cook and she did an awesome job... an EXCELLENT tender.
My only downside is the base box attached to the juke box, you don't hear the music here, you FEEL it. Perhaps they have a younger crowd and that's what they want so who am I to complain, lol. I'm 55 and used to own a tavern.
If I ever bought a bar again I'd certainly try to hire that tender Laura, and if her bosses read this she deserves every penny your paying her an then some! (Laura, I know I botched the spelling of your name here, sorry lol. was it Lora?)

“they give you new York strip instead of rib eye,and say it's the same .NOT even close.. we had a digger for a waitress. how about crackers for your soup ? it did not get any better. this place used to be really good ,they overcooked the prime rib or I would of had that”

“Zach’s is hands down my favorite bar. The owner is one of the kindest people you’ll meet, and it really shows in the atmosphere of the place. As a woman, feeling safe somewhere matters a lot to me, and Zach’s is one of the few places where I can truly enjoy myself. The music is always great, the food is amazing, and the bartenders are seriously the best. They are friendly, attentive, and they make everyone feel welcome. If you’re looking for a place with good vibes, great people, and an environment that feels safe and fun, I can’t recommend Zach’s enough.”

“We visited Ringling Brew House for an early fish fry and had a bit of a mixed experience. The food itself was good—the fish was well-prepared and flavorful. However, our sides were incorrect, and we didn’t receive the rolls that were listed on the menu, which was a little disappointing. The beer was enjoyable, but the menu was out of date per the server. We were told several options we were interested in weren’t available, and it felt like a guessing game with the server, who could neither tell us anything about the beer, or when told a name of the beer of the menu seem to be able to find it on his list. Service was the main challenge. Our waiter appeared overwhelmed and unfamiliar with the menu and overall operations, which made things feel disorganized. While we were there, it also seemed that a cook quit rather dramatically, which may explain some of the confusion. What stood out most is that the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful and clearly has a lot of potential. It wasn’t busy during our visit—only a couple of other tables—so the issues weren’t due to being overwhelmed with customers. Overall, I’d be willing to give it another try because the setting and food show promise, but unfortunately this visit felt like we caught them on an off night.”

“We come to Jose’s every time I’m up here in Baraboo. Sometimes more than once in a weekend. The manager Maria is the best. She always makes sure to say hello and make sure your food is good. Andrea is also on the top of our list of favorite waitresses. We go to their trucks to eat and the Jose’s in hochunk is the best. Highly recommend.”

“Friday night reservation for 14 people celebrating my daughter's graduation from nursing school. Drinks and food outstanding. Old fashioned cold beer fish fry perch walleye and poor man's lobster outstanding. Cooked to perfection and entire group enjoyed their meal together. Salad bar or soup included. Salad bar fresh and lots of fresh toppings to choose from. Soup was delicious for the 2 in our group that chose it. Clam chowder. Thank you BCC and Foreseasons staff. Service and atmosphere top notch!”

“Excellent tacos with friendly service! Also, the cleanliness inside the bus seems impeccable. I witnessed the workers prioritize food safety with proper glove changeouts and food handling. I was very impressed as nowadays it's hard to find protocol everyone follows to a T!”

“Our group was welcomed by the family and 5aken on a hay ride tour of the farm. The dnner buffet was adequate but not impressive. Barbecue was good, but the serving was small. Sides included green beans, cole slaw and salad. After dinner the band provided about an hour of opry-style music. Audience members were invited to the stage to participate. On the whole, it was a fun evening.”

“Excellent Experience all around. We stayed in a two bedroom condo for 4 nights. The layout was perfect for us. Everyone had their own space for downtime, which we need. The beds were very comfortable. I even slept on the murphy bed in the living room and was just fine. Room was very clean. Housekeeping was great about bring us extra towels, shampoo etc. The kitchen was great to have full side fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher. Picked up a walmart order and saved a lot of $$ not having to eat out as food at the resort is very pricey. The resort was kept very clean (hallways picked up of towels, garbage) and that was impressive. Water parks were great, only complaint is the chlorine level seemed a bit high as I ended up with a rash on the 3rd day we were there.”

“Been there a few times and the food here is probably the best they have for lunch in the resort but that’s a pretty low bar because most of the food at this resort is quite bad! I’m gluten free and they have a gluten free menu which is great. If you’re looking for mediocre food, at a high price then you have found your place. TBH most of the places in the dells are mediocre and not good and this is compared with the rest of them”

“Our family stopped in for lunch. My brother can be very particular and had many questions for your staff. Forgive me, I don’t have the best sight, but the young attendant’s name looked like it may have been California or Cailliana? Again, a million apologies if I butchered your name. I did not catch the other young gentleman’s name, but both were wonderful hosts! They answered every question my brother had. They were so polite and professional the entire time and didn’t skip a beat as has asked specific questions regarding the differences between cheese sauces. We didn’t even ask, and they labelled the sandwiches for us so there was no confusion. A+ customer service, thank you both so much!”

“Great real Chinese food in this area”

“On vacation in the Dells and decided to try a place we'd never been. The whole family (wife and boys, 12 and 9) really liked the butter burgers and fries. The ketchup was out, so I grabbed a couple of to-go packs from the counter and the young lady running the register made sure to get the pump refilled as soon as she could, then checked on us while making her rounds.”
