“It's only 15 minutes from the large resorts by the dells. All the food was great. We had the shrimp fettuccine, and Chicken Caprice. The homemade bread topped with minced garlic and a drizzle of butter was a great start and kept our 6 year olds water for a bit.Our server was great. He made sure we had everything we needed both for our dinner and the leftovers.Worth the drive to avoid the crowded nearby options. Better still if you're already nearby.”

“Was lots of fun. We did disney trivia night, which was a blast! I enjoyed trying to do my own mixing of drinks ? the mashed potatoes were amazing! I'd reccomend those with some good drinks. Music was very loud but that comes with the territory.Kid-friendliness: I did see a few kids in here but it was loud for them and not much for them to really do or eat.”

“We had a party of 8 for 6:00pm and we showed up early and they still sat us. We originally thought we were getting a regular table but they sat us in a separate room which we didn't mind at all just didn't expect. Service was terrific and fast everyone was so welcoming our server destiny was amazing and being our first time here coming from Illinois we really appreciated the service we got. Food was amazing definitely recommend the ribeye and roasted chicken. I would definitely come back”

“My hubby and I recently got the chance to go to this cute little wine shop in the middle of the quaint village of Baraboo. With so many wineries to choose from, we are so happy that we chose this one. We opted for the 4 course wine and food pairing and also got to sample their other delicious fruit wines and let me tell you... If we did not have a weight restriction going home to Belgium, we would have bought a bottle of each of them. They are all super delicious and could each function as a dessert or regular wine. Also, the owner, Kenn, is just a delight to talk to and be guided by. You can tell this winery is his passion and it shows through his warmth, his knowledge, his hospitality and his enthusiasm. If you are hesitating whether to go here, don't! And make sure you have some room in your vehicle for all the wine you will be buying. (P.s. the old fashioneds he makes are out of this world! And the premix is available for sale. Of course we bought one. Highly recommend that as well!)”

“Food was awesome and service was great! Will definitely be going back! I had the crab cake Benny and it was fresh and definitely house made. My husband had the pork belly Benny and he said it was delicious and the pork belly was perfectly crisp. The beer was great and unique and so were the bloody marys. Will be back this summer to enjoy the outside area. Super cool spot!”

“So, my wife and I have visited quite a few winerys. My wife is really into it and I just kind of tag along, although I have learned a little bit in the last few years. I have to say that the wines at Balanced Rock are probably the best I have ever had! They tasted exactly as they were described!I wish we lived closer because this would be a really cool place to hang out! The outdoors area is beautiful and very relaxing!”

“The service and atmosphere here is very unique. The prices are fair and portions decent. Some things are hit and miss, but never terrible or mediocre. They do lack a bit of consistency sometimes with their recipes/dishes. The apple pancakes were the best I’ve ever had. Comfort food for sure!”
