We received great service in the restaurant, they had some terrific cocktails available, and I was able to get samples of some of their distillery exclusives and enjoy a flight. Overall a great experience, and I left with a cask-strength rye and a few souvenirs. Well worth the trip”

“I visited yesterday with my sister Dawn Doering Londo. I was so happy I finally got to go. I had a latte with almond milk...delicious. I took pastries to go. I had a cherry scone...it was the best and then this morning my husband and I had a morning bun...OMG! The best I've ever had. I enjoy finding new coffee shops (more than finding a new bar) and when I find one that is this amazing I start looking forward to my next visit! Thank you so much! PS...love your space!”

“We visited this location during a Friday night dinner rush on 7/19. It was quite busy and the staff was busting their backs to keep up. Although it was so busy it was hard for them to keep up (I’ve def seen way more staff in busy locations like this one so maybe something to consider) they all seemed to keep a smile on their face and were very polite. The variety of pizza was lacking due to so many customer orders on the bar. I think pizza ranch needs to address their special orders policy during such busy hours (maybe limit it if possible). Anyways overall good experience!”

“my friend and I are monthly regulars at Jose's . we have been at the baraboo location 3 times in the last week however the service hasn't been the greatest . the manager Saturday accommodated us with dessert for cold food . today I asked for a manager for a dirty plate with food on it . he asked me what I wanted done about it? wasn't happy when I asked for a new one . the next plate that came out had food on the bottom of the plate . our server was rude when she brought out the replacement . she told us Saturday that her English was poor which is fine but needed to keep sending other servers to our table . I love coming to the restaurant but when service is starting to go down hill and the servers are starting to be rude not the atmosphere it once was .”

“I was very disappointed in the fish sandwich I ordered last night. The bottom of the bun was so soggy it fell apart and was unable to be eaten. The fish it's self was cold. Not a good experience. I wish I had taken a picture.”

“Our group was welcomed by the family and 5aken on a hay ride tour of the farm. The dnner buffet was adequate but not impressive. Barbecue was good, but the serving was small. Sides included green beans, cole slaw and salad. After dinner the band provided about an hour of opry-style music. Audience members were invited to the stage to participate. On the whole, it was a fun evening.”

“We come to Jose’s every time I’m up here in Baraboo. Sometimes more than once in a weekend. The manager Maria is the best. She always makes sure to say hello and make sure your food is good. Andrea is also on the top of our list of favorite waitresses. We go to their trucks to eat and the Jose’s in hochunk is the best. Highly recommend.”

“Was here within the past week with my toddler for a lunch date and was very happy with the food and service. The one area of improvement for this specific location would have been the cleanliness as it appeared. The floors had not been swept in a couple days due to the amount of food and debris under most of the tables. I did notice. Staff were being very attentive to keeping the tables clean so patrons could enjoy their food, but the floors definitely needed some attention. Bathrooms were noted to be clean and stocked. Seating is adequate with a good amount of tables and booths available. Definitely would’ve recommended this location for families in the area as the menu allows for everybody to get some thing that they will enjoy.”

“Jose was our server he was funny and took care of us promptly. The food took a while to come out, though. My rice was cold, and the beans were flavorless. The carne asada tacos were good. My friend had the taco salad and loved it.”
