“We are born & bred Wisconsin, farm raised on steak, & have been blessed to have tried lots of supper clubs and restaurants across the state. Honestly, we were a bit doubtful when we first arrived at Ishnala. They’ve won best supper club and old fashioned for years. Best supper club - that’s a bold statement to make. But we were amazed. The hype is legit. They exceeded our expectations.

Best steak we have had. Best shrimp I’ve had (shrimp Ishnala), best old fashioned outside our home 😘. The breadbasket had a great surprise of cinnamon bread in addition to great dinner rolls. The view and history are spectacular. The owner is kind and thoughtful, it’s obvious he loves this place and values his staff. It’s was an amazing experience. They are best supper club & destination restaurant in the state, and we will drive 3 hours round trip to go again!”

These 2 went above and beyond to make sure we knew our options and understood them as we tried something new today. “when we ordered we couldn't understand the person. mixed up our order ordered saint Louis and baby combo .she put in a 1/2 baby platter. food was okay but not nearly enough for 27.99. I ordered brisket platter 7 prices of brisket on a peice of bread. had to order a pizza as we were both hungry. never had that happen before. was definitely not worth the 58.48”

“It was charging my car this morning, and the Starbucks was out front. I decided to go in and get something warm to sip on. The crew was so nice and the manager came out to speak to me a little bit. They’ve made it such a warm and friendly environment… Despite how busy they are.”

“While driving semi there are not too many places convenient to park. Parked facing Burger King and stepped inside Market Square Cheese to make a purchase. Unexpectedly a nice lady that worked at the Wisconsin Dells Burger King brings dinner across the 6 or so lanes of road the 2 parking lots to tell me "We know you guys are having a hard time getting a decent meal lately. “We ate here before the Chris Young show in the middle of that dang snowstorm. It was our first time! From the minute we walked in and were greeted by the host staff and welcomed by our server at the bar, we already felt like we were being treated like royalty. You feel so welcomed, immediately. After a cocktail, our hostess came and found us for our reservation and we were seated at a cute window seat, overlooking the Christmas lights. Our server, Alex, was OUTSTANDING. I cannot stress enough how much we enjoyed his company and his conversation. We were, again, treated like royalty. 1 billion out of 10 for all of the front of house staff...especially Alex. At this point, if the food was terrible I wouldn't have even cared. But. It. Wasn't. Calamari 10/10 (light batter and melts in your mouth), my Ceasar Salad 10/10 (the dressing was light and flavorful and I almost asked for a bowl of the croutons) I ordered a NY Strip medium rare, baked potato, mushrooms 10/10 (cooked and seasoned to perfection, at this point Ive eaten so much food I think I'm going to die, but I couldn't stop), my friend had the Queens Cut Prime Rib, baked potato, and asparagus 10/10 (again, cooked to perfection, super flavorful, and the asparagus was huge and delicious). Alex asks if we want dessert and I said I literally can't breathe. ...He came back with a chocolate mousse anyways...how he knew my weakness, I'll never know. So, go for the food and the staff. These folks are doing it so right. We can't wait to go back!!!!”

We got there at 630pm in the off season on a Saturday night and we're surprised at how busy it was! We only had a 20 minute wait for a party of 5. “I am from Chicago ( the land of the best hot dogs) and it is rare I find a place that reminds me of home. From the gyros that are cut off the spit ( that preparation is hard to find) to the fresh french fries that are piping hot. The amount of food you get is very large and worth the slightly higher price. ( we have left overs ) Truthfully we would pay almost as much as the more commercial places. This place is so MUCH better! The entire place was very clean, fully stocked with everything we needed. The bathrooms were very clean and they have a welcoming atmosphere. I recommend them, for sure!”
