“What a great spot! This is our 3rd winter getaway to the Dells and we make it a point to stop here. The avocado toast is amazing (especially love the pickled red onions), ingredients are always fresh, staff is welcoming, and what a lovely view of the river! We don’t leave without taking coffee beans to go and enjoy at home. Love it!”

“Excellent service, excellent food. Some of our group had prime rib ( some of the best I have ever had anywhere), some had steak, some had fish. All said food was top notch. Had cheese curds and spinach dip appetizer. Wonderful. Strong drinks…nice change, and a best ever grasshopper. I wish we lived closer. We would come often! Happened in when having our family Christmas weekend. Wonderful place. Worked with our celiac guest without issue. Highly recommend!!”

“I love Riley’s! Favorite place to get a drink and have a good time since I’ve moved to Portage. But I was upset to find out that the price of Carbliss switched from $5 to $7, that’s almost a 50% increase in price. I understand other places in the big cities up charge for the price of drinks but I don’t understand a smaller Portage dive bar upping the price on a drink by $2. Otherwise I love seeing Jamie and Kenny when I come in but I wish there wasn’t a big price change with Carbliss, High Noon, and White Claw.”

“As Chicago natives, it’s either Cubs or Sox and deep dish or thin crust pizza. We’ve had both pizza styles here, as we are a house divided, and both were fantastic! Three non-negotiables for us - good crust, good sauce, and good sausage. Check, check, and check. We’ve also had the Swiss onion soup, chicken parm, and spaghetti with meat sauce. Everything delicious. The fresh roasted garlic served with the EVOO to dip the warm bread is a nice touch that you don’t often get. Great food, friendly people, and it’s reminiscent of an Italian deli from the old days. Tony and Co, you knocked it out of the park.”

“I dined here for the first time last year and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately my memory failed me and the restaurant fell off my radar. Thankfully I thought about it again last night as I was meeting a couple friends for dinner. Once again we enjoyed a peaceful dinner on the deck at the bar height table offering a beautiful view of Jordan Lake. My sandwich was delicious and timely. The bartender, who was also the waitress, was very friendly and checked on us several times. I can't wait to introduce this place to others!”

“This is how my 3rd time eating here and it is truly some of the best food I have had. The mongolian beef melts in your mouth, the szechuan string beans are super flavorful. We also loved the fried dumplings and the teriyaki & honey chicken. So far everything we have tried has been amazing and we will definitely be back soon.”
