“After attending Tractor Daze, I ate at the A&W for the first time. I was impressed. The food, root beer, portion size, and tastes were amazing. I left full! It was very affordable. My favorite part however, was the staff. Everyone was polite and helpful. One of the owners even came out and introduced himself. “I love Riley’s! Favorite place to get a drink and have a good time since I’ve moved to Portage. But I was upset to find out that the price of Carbliss switched from $5 to $7, that’s almost a 50% increase in price. I understand other places in the big cities up charge for the price of drinks but I don’t understand a smaller Portage dive bar upping the price on a drink by $2. Otherwise I love seeing Jamie and Kenny when I come in but I wish there wasn’t a big price change with Carbliss, High Noon, and White Claw.”

“I was in this past Saturday evening to get some food togo. It was busy with just 2 cooks and 1 server. Amanda, the server, did absolutely amazing with handling all the food and beverage orders at all of the tables as well as the bar. Not to mention she was also helping the two newer cooks. Food was great. Huge compliment to Amanda!!”

“Went here for lunch. Very nice selection. Ordered off the lunch menu. You got a choice of 3 soups and an eggroll with your entrée and fried rice. Nice portions! Reasonably priced. The food was awesome. One of the best eggrolls I have ever had. Fast service. I definitely will be returning!”

“Today for some reason the order was incorrect I ordered beef enchiladas as usual but the order was all incorrect and I did not receive any notifications the food was ready to be picked up, after waiting a while I went inside and the order was cold sitting on the pick up rack.
There was pretty much an empty parking lot so I don't think they were to busy I just ask please make sure the correct food is prepared as some of us drive 1/2 hr or more to purchase this delicious food. I always tip well and am very friendly to the staff.

The dining area is sparkling clean with a pleasant atmosphere. So are the restrooms. Whenever I am there, many people dining in and many people stopping in to pick up their carry outs.”

“Local Portage bar, long bar with ancient very cool cooler, they say it works better than any of the modern ones. We got a cheeseburger, it came with chips and a few pickles, and the patty melt. Buns were grilled 👌🏼 perfectly just lightly crispy! They have one pull tab machine, and a few gambling machines. Pool table, foosball, and darts. Bartender was prompt and friendly! The sign was hilarious, look at the photos and you will understand which one I'm talking about.”

“We had my daughter’s 6th birthday at pizza ranch portage. They were the absolute best and kind! Always asking if we needed anything or if they could get us anything. Extremely clean and all were friendly!”

“Really like this Culver’s. The food always for me has come up fast and accurate. Always consistent. People at the restaurant are always very nice and courteous. They do a good job keeping this place clean. And in today’s work that is very important. Some places are just gross. They place is always clean and welcoming. Like I said food comes up hot and fresh. I always stop at this store when I am heading home to see family about an hour away from Baraboo. Great place. Excellent menu. Highly Recomended. .”
