“If ever in Portage Wisconsin and hungry this is the place to go and have a great meal with awesome service.In the late '90s our daughter after her moving to Madison and I started meeting there for lunch.Later my brother moved back to Wisconsin and we had many trips back and forth to the VA hospital in Madison for him. He also had a stop always on the way back.He is no longer with us and neither is my husband yet same thing with him always had to stop to eat there.Now 20 some years later and had been a while but met my daughter again for a nice meal.Nothing has changed except he did have a fire that had to remodel a bit but the service along with the food was just as outstanding as ever.Anyone I know going from Northern Wisconsin south I always mention you want some good food to stop at Dino's in Portage Wisconsin.Being there last week brought back memories also and I'm thankful to have added a new one.“
“Very good food and a great view of the lake from the deck! I think they have the best pizza and the Reuben was prolly the best one I've ever had. They could do a better job of keeping things tidy (our plastic table was broken so I had to be careful to not bump up against it or it could have torn my shirt) but overall a very nice experience.“
“Went out for Friday fish!We went a little later after 8PM. They were out of a good number of fish, but the hostess told us that prior to seating to ensure we wanted to stay. I thought that was very thoughtful!Fresh buns were served at the table and they were so soft!Salad bar was basic, but good!I got cod and the batter was so good! And we all had their homemade fresh french fries which were supper! I personally like a little floppier of a fry so I was happy.I had an old fashioned sour and honestly one of the best I’ve had!Our server was continually apologetic about things that were out of their control and made sure we had everything we needed.Overall I’d give our experience an 85%. For sure room for improvement, but they’re new! I can’t expect 5 star service from a place just restarting… I can’t wait to see them grow!“
“We had never been here before, as my folks are new in town.Took my family out for a nice meal and to celebrate my mom's birthday. Jennifer was the server; she did a great job. Always attentive to our needs. The food was superb. The portions were large and in charge. A bit pricy, but what isn't these days?Thank you Suzy's for making my mom's night out such a special event. The unexpected dessert was a nice touch. Just like the prodigal son, we will return. 5 stars!“
