“Went for a wine dinner with a 5 course meal. I used to serve those kinds of meals back in Germany. This was a wonderful meal. Great quality, great presentation.I took 1 star off my rating because I am picky when it comes to serving. The waitresses were friendly and quick, no complaints there. With this kind of quality meal, I'd love that kind of level of service: serve the plate from the right, take it from the left, place settings need to be appropriate, there need to be enough wine glasses to have a new glass for every new wine, plates should be warmed in order to keep the food warm.So, we had a 95% great experience. And the 5% were things that possibly only a few people would notice.“
“We went for dinner during the week and had a fantastic meal. Everything was a nicely portioned and cooked well. The atmosphere was classic supper club including a salad bar. Our waitress even left a water carafe on our table so we wouldn’t have to ask for refills. My only minor complaint was the salad dressing. We got only a small plastic cup which was a little cheap. We will definitely be coming back.“
“When we heard another Mexican restaurant was opening in Rapids, our initial reaction was to groan -- let's get some variety in this town! BUT. Once we tried Avocados, we changed our tune. This is now our go-to restaurant in Wisconsin Rapids. The food is consistently good, the ingredients are consistently higher quality than the popular Mexican place over by Walmart (you know the one), and the service is consistently five-star. We eat here 3-4 times a month, and we are so glad Avocados came to town.“
