“We really liked the pizza and the tap beers. I'd love to see an expanded menu. The staff behind the bar was great. I'd like to see a wait staff on the floor. The building is cool with late 18th, early 19th century charm.Street parking appears to be the way. However, we parked in a lot across the street.I would definitely return.”
“Small Cafe with all the breakfast classics: omelets, skillets and pancakes. This is where all the locals eat, they are super friendly and welcoming. Food is good and features homemade bread and jam. Cash only.”
“My wife likes steak from time to time. She said it was good. The Ole Fashoined they made me was about an 8. The pasta dish I had was excellent. The tap beer list was light but that's typical for a steak place. It was a little out of the way but easy to get to. Plenty of parking. The price was very reasonable. We will definitely return.”
“First time there will not be the last awesome place, friendly service very clean and the food was fantastic. It's tucked off the road so look for the sign. Will be going back. Oh the burgers are fresh not frozen. And they have homemade fries!”
“Great service, great company, good food. A place where you can enjoy others company, and friendly banter. Can’t wait to see what the new owners do with the place.”
“A friend recommended the street tacos so we thought we’d check it out. As soon as we walked in felt at home. Staff was courteous and helpful while ordering. Food was wonderful. Started with chips and queso. Generous portions of both. Kids has cheese quesadilla and taco salad. My husband and I had tamales, street corn and tacos. All of it was very good. Only thing I would have changed was better tequila in the Margarita.Restaurant was clean and saw staff regularly cleaning while we were there. Will definitely be back! Thanks again to the staff for being so kind and helpful while ordering! Also enjoyed watching the Futbol game that was on tv.Kid-friendliness: Mexican and American options.”
“We have been going to this place since I can remember, 16+ years. We actually catered our wedding rehearsal dinner from here. The food is delicious, quick and priced well. Our favorites are shrimp a la diablo, fajitas, burritos, and margarita on the rocks. There have been several new Mexican restaurant in rapids in the last few years that I have also tried, but this one is my favorite. The menu and portion sizes are just classic. Their kids menu offers good option too. Staff are quick and friendly.”
“Very good place to eat once and a while. The food is always good and it's a more high-end place. The prices are a bit higher, but it's worth it, and you get a decent amount of food. It's next to pleasure island, whatever that means.”
“Caring members who trust God for their needs. Pastor is s bit quiet and laid back but God still speaks, as he will. Some seedy people but let’s keep our eyes on Jesus”
“Great place to enjoy a Big Breakfast.Friendly, Polite, Helpful Patrons ..As the Staff goes above and beyond for its customers. They let park my semi truck in their lot as well.”
“There was 12 ladies that went in on 6/07/23. The service was amazing and the food was beyond amazing. It's hard to serve that many efficiently but they did it!! Thanks! We'll be back!”
“This is a vintage building that has a good feel about it, and a casual atmosphere great for baby boomers who don’t want noisy spaces. The wood fired pizza is top of the line delicious, and they have a good wine list and don’t keep the red wine in the fridge. I bring my friend here often because she loves to drink wine, and we always enjoy the time we spend here.”
