“We came in on a Monday night celebrating our grandparents birthday. We had quite a large group. Our server, Kayley, was very attentive and our food came out amazing. She even brought us birthday cake with candles and it made their night! Thank you for the excellent food and service!”

Ha, ha, the joke is on them! John and his staff are fast, efficient, and very friendly. I'm not sure how John finds his staff, but all are all very efficient and dressed well.”

“We were in Rapids and saw the Shack at the side of the road and predicted this place is going to have very tasty food. Meat being smoked outside smelled delicious. We all had the pulled pork sandwich and it was melt-in-your mouth tender. I had the mild BBQ sauce, while husband and son had the sassy sauce. The beans and cheesy potatoes were also very good. We enjoyed it so much, we got a pound of shredded pork and shredded beef to go. They have some big picnic tables inside for indoor dining, but also have a drive through window. Highly recommend.”

“My favorite Mexican spot in Wisconsin. Always so helpful and friendly. I always ordered the lengua, tripa and the beef cheek taco (I don’t remember the correct name for it). They are always so delicious and packed with cilantro and onions!!! My favorite time was a few months ago I ordered a steak taco without beans and they doubled the rice and steak for no extra charge. Was so yummy. You guys are so awesome!!!!!”

“We were there on Wednesday June 5th. They had 2 large tables already seated. We had 9 people. We waited a short time for the waitress/bartender to get our drink order. She was very pleasant even though by now all the tables were full. All of our food was delicious. I would definitely recommend Gordies.”

“The fried Green Beans were delicious! So was the Fish Fry, wish there was maybe a 4th piece or that the 3 were a little larger, but it was super yummy!!! Although all the tables were full and there were only like 3 people working (2 bar tenders and one cook from what I could tell), the female bartender did a fantastic job running the floor and serving the tables. She was very nice and gave recommendations since my mom and I were in from out of town. And the prices were very reasonable: less than $40 for an appetizer, 2 dinners, and a beer. Highly recommend!

“We decided to try a new place for fish fry tonight and it do NOT disappoint! I had the 2pc, 1 baked and 1 deep fried with a large side of baby reds. everything was seasoned perfectly. My boys each had french fries with their fish and they were crispy and hot. Even my hubby who is more of a baked fish guy decided to skip the usual and go deep fried, the plates were empty when the table was cleared. Our server was super friendly, fast, and paid attention to detail. We will definitely be going back to have many more fish fry Fridays here and checking out the other items available throughout the week!!! Great job Pour House”

“Anchor Bay Bar and Grill offers a beautiful atmosphere on the scenic Wisconsin River. We ordered a homemade pizza pizza and one of their specialty burgers. They were both very tasty. They have a large bar and dining room area to accommodate large groups of people along with ample outdoor seating. The service was fast and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend.

Parking: Large gravel parking lot with ample parking. There is no charge to park.

Kid-friendliness: This bar & grill offers two styles of high chairs and has booster seats. The bathroom also has a baby changing station.

Wheelchair accessibility: This bar & grill offers two big double doors as the entrance for easy entry. Tables in the dining room are adequately spaced for accessibility. There are also seating options on the patio that would be appropriate.”

“We had our wedding this past weekend in Stevens point. Kathy and her crew from Chat-R-Box was amazing to work with. Kathy has a nice variety of meal options to choose from. They provided a very good taste testing experience. Once we decided what we wanted for our meal, she ensured that there would be extra food and not to worry, which there was. Come the wedding day they provided excellent service and even better food! We had multiple compliments from many guests on how good the chicken and the rest of the meal was. If you are looking for excellence food with great service at a reasonable price Chat-R-Box is the way to go! Would recommend them!”

Get it fixed immediately, I can't understand a word being said, it sounds like someone is talking from 50 feet away without their headset on. I also hate not knowing the total for my order before I get to the window because sometimes I use cash to pay.”

But the reason for the 4 star overall was because the app sort of sucks. It lags so bad, literally waiting about 45 seconds between each click just for it to select and move on.”

“We met for breakfast (4 adults and 1 child). We got our food in a reasonable amount of time and everything was good. Except for the biscuit (biscuits & gravy). You could tell it had been microwaved too long. It had definitely become an Elly Mae Biscuit. Note to the cook: Reheating biscuits too long makes them rock hard.”
