Don't let the building fool you, the food and service were incredible. 10/10.The burger was a basic cheeseburger but cooked to perfection and surprisingly delicious for just a burger.Fries were crisp, not soggy like normal crinkle cut can be.Pancakes were delicious as well.The ladies in the place were fast and super friendly.The food is cheaper than fast food, so yes the prices are very reasonable.Plan on making it a regular food stop.
When roadtripping, the rule is "No chain restaurants except for the occasional Culvers for the Flavor of the Day". This little cafe is definitely one of a kind. We met the current Grandma. I say Current because this little business was started by her parents decades ago. The cafe is housed in a quonset hut and has many family and community photos on the walls.
