“Food was excellent we go here or get pick up very often bartender is a great person atmosphere is great and constantly has great food that review by Steve Mcvay is one of the least realistic reviews I have personally ever seen tarnishing a local business is a terrible thing to do and it is a great place to eat at whether it be dinner or lunch. Highly recommend the burgers and chicken or fish fry if that’s what you like.”

“Sweet little hometown cafe. Owner and all staff are always friendly. My kids will walk here for field trips from school to have ice cream and it's the highlight of their year. Fish fry is delicious, voted best in Portage County at one point.”

“I have to say, Brian and Wendys is truly a hidden gem. We have owned restaurants and also ran them for a number of years and there is a simple explanation on why this restaurant stands out from the others: Passion. When the description says farm to table, they mean it. They have their own farm just down the road and that's where their beef comes from. The hamburgers are IMHO award winning. The fish fry is outstanding and their home made soups are like many of us had growing up. They both are extremely hard workers and you will probably interact with both of them during your meal. Did I say passionate?.....If you're old enough to remember a show called "Cheers". This is pretty close as to the friendliness of the establishment. Enjoy, you won't be disappointed.”

“Quiet little pub on the edge of town. The chicken noodle soup was fantastic. Plenty of room around the pool tables to take your shot. Right on te water. Huge dock to go fishing from. I have never been here before but I really did like the atmosphere they created here. The staff was very polite and the prices are reasonable. I definately plan to return eventually.”

“This is a fun place to enjoy the water with family or friends. It’s a short walk from the parking lot to the water. They have paddle boards and kayaks available to rent. We went near the end of the season and they were pretty swamped and out of a lot of food items but they still did a great job taking care of everyone. The kids loved playing in the sand and jumping off the docks. It was pretty busy and there was a lot of motor boat traffic which made paddle boarding/kayaking less enjoyable. The food was only okay, but it was a lot of fun!”
