“This is a great old supper club... It's been around the block per se. The entrance and the address have changed from one side of the building to the other. From my understanding the original building was circa 1891 and was the home of Joseph Fenzl where he sold groceries and ran a saloon. So Jeff's on Rugby has been slinging drinks for awhile. The food is normal Supper Club fair with the very ample portions! The drinks and food are well priced. The Chicken Alfredo is spectacular!“
“Me and my husband visiting here from Georgia due to my husband working here we must say the crab boil was amazing the chicken wings with the cilantro omg my first time having wings like that thumbs up guys..plus we had outstanding customer service.“
“We stopped by for dinner tonight and it was very good! I had the fish tacos, which came with very yummy fries and coleslaw, my husband had a burger and fries. (I stole his pickles.) Our waiter was super nice and made sure our glasses were never empty. I would recommend checking this place out!“
“By far the best breakfast I ever had. I took my son and he got so full his stomach hurts and he had a kids meal. That was enough for an adult to eat. I had rib eye steak breakfast and requested for it to be diced up and they accepted my request which was very kind of the chef. But only thing I didn't like is my waitress. She kept being in a rush at my table. Couldn't even get all my words out. No smile or nothing. But i notice with everyone else she was smiling and waited to people finished talking. I had to Keep trying to get her attention because she never let me finished what I was saying. But when she start being nice and asking my son age is when I ask her where do I write tip at. Her whole demeanor change. I don't know if she stereotype me but big change in person. Will go back for food and hopefully a better waitress“
“First time here and definitely will be back. Mussels were incredible. We had the roast duck and chicken wellington. At least a half dozen other things on the menu we want to try. Bartender was very attentive and helpful. Staff was extremely friendly. Hidden gem.“
“We were looking for a good Friday fish fry in the Oshkosh area and Wendt's did not disappoint! No wonder the wait was about an hour: this was one of the best fish fries we have had. Lightly battered cod pieces were perfectly fried. Waffle fries and sweet potato fries were great, and you can't beat pint-glass old fashioneds for only six bucks! Definitely worth the visit even if you need to go out of your way to get there!“
“Such an incredibly beautiful remodel! From the booths right by the Main Street windows, plenty of tables, and HUGE horseshoe bar, Water City is equipped for anything! We love trying their amazing selection of Fall Drinks and extensive Bourbon list. Great music night on Wednesday's too!“
