“We went for the Friday fish fry and it was delicious great taste and huge portions I would highly recommend it. They also have delicious patty melt sandwiches and cheeseburgers. “We were visiting from Port Washington and had to check out one of the oldest buildings in Oshkosh. The owner, Scott, took time to come over and introduce himself and thanked us for stopping in. He explained the history of the bar and provided background stories for the pictures on the wall. Friendly atmosphere, exceptional service, and the pizza & jerky is dynamite! Highly recommend if you enjoy a neighboor dive bar. 10/5 stars!“

“Place was very clean. They have a game called DJ trivia which was a hoot lot of fun. The pizza nothing to write home about mostly burnt but not too bad. People were especially friendly wonderful place great experience. Just don't eat the pizza“
“Oshkosh favorite of mine since the days when I lived on Irving Ave. while attending UW-Zero. Seems to be able to bridge the gap between townie/student bar as I've seen both groups there. Seems to me that there was a Sister bar in Scottsdale, AZ that has since closed. :(“
“I felt compelled to write this after seeing another "karen's" review. Look, this is a place to see some of the best regional and national electronic music acts in the US. It is literally the ONLY place near the Fox Valley. And the person who owns this works his butt off to make sure it happens. This place actually deserves a 6 star rating. So, if you're a karen and feel like you have to complain about it cause it's not your style or you dont like live entertainment (which comes with loudish type music) then i suggest you walk in front of a train instead of degrading someone elses hard work to put smiles on his patreons faces. You should be ashamed.But as for the electric lounge, this is highly recommended if you are looking for a nightlife atmosphere with quality sound and high class artists who pass thru. “Nice watering hole. The bartenders are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. There's darts, drink specials and popcorn. They also serve pizza. A good place to chill out and enjoy yourself. I met up with a friend there on a Saturday night and it wasn't overly packed but had enough patrons to be entertaining.“
“Barley's is my favorite bar! It's basically the "Cheers" of Oshkosh for my group of friends - "where everyone knows your name". Nate, the owner, is one of the most personable guys you will ever meet and he always makes a point to say hello! Thursday nights are the best nights to go, especially when it's meat bingo night! They also do a lot of fundraising for the local humane society, which I really appreciate. Nate and his establishment are a great asset to downtown Oshkosh! I definitely recommend this bar!“

“This downtown bar/lounge has been remarkably preserved over time. When you walk into this establishment you step back into time, the time when breweries owned bars to showcase their brews and beautiful bar backs. From my understanding the Schlitz Brewing Company purchased the building way back in 1886, making this one of the longest running bars in Oshkosh. The lounge is very popular with all sorts of crowds from the old timers, middle aged and the college crowd. Stop in and enjoy your favorite beverage!“

“Don't order any food it's all freezer burned. Unless they changed the menu, stay away from the pizza and ask the staff if it's OK to eat there. THE BARTENDERS WERE EXCEPTIONAL. Anticipated beverage distribution ahead of the customer emptying the one in front of them. Funny and fun people to be around. The appeal for regulars to stop in each week and for new customers to stay for a couple is easy to understand here.“
