“We love the pizza and up until yesterday 4/22/22 we encountered the first time the sausage was not the same. We think it was precooked and what was great tasting sausage before turned out to be totally different in taste. Only other explanation is a new sausage supplier. We will order only pepperoni in the future.”

“We went for drinks with friends, and had a lovely time! The service was awesome. The drinks 🍸 were so cute! I had a marshmallow ghost 👻 on a pick in my drink! It was so tasty I had to have a second! We enjoyed the music, and the cozy couch seating. They also offered complimentary yummy crunchy snacks to enjoy with our drinks. Highly recommend!”

“We had a baseball tournament right in DeForest, wanted to get out of the sun for a little bit, so we stopped for a couple drinks. Bartender was amazing, and took care of us just as well as the regulars. When we left to go back to the field, we were trying to figure out a place for dinner with the rest of our group. That's when we said let's go back to The Frog Pond. We came in and had some more drinks and dinner. Food was good and hot when it came out. Bartender that night was also great! She made sure we were very well taken care of. A lot of small town bars that I've been to, tend to only pay attention to their regulars. I felt like a regular even though it was only the first time being there. Your establishment will definitely be frequented when we have tournaments in DeForest.”

“The heavyset waitress wearing red plaid leggings was unhelpful as we waited for a coffee refill. She simply stood at the counter while I raised my hand for assistance, yet she just stared at us. I understand if it’s busy, but it wasn't.”

“I was at the DeForest Culver in DeForest, WI, for a meet & greet date. The front end of the store where you ordered food was clean & orderly. Employees all had proper uniforms & were clean. The order taker was friendly & greeted us with a pleasant smile. Our food was ordered w/o incident. The soda fountain was clean, & all soda dispensers’ were in working order & clean. Ample lids & condiments were in their designation. Once again, clean & orderly. When the server was bringing our order out, it turned out to have the incorrect order number on it. After walking around trying to find our table, the server asked what we ordered? It was our food. The food was still hot & we enjoyed the meal. Four stars were given due to the mix up of the order number & delay of receiving our order.

The sitting area had several tables that were yet to be cleaned. As I was sitting down at a table, I noticed a special needs individual. He came out & started to clean off the table & sweep the floor. He was also talking to himself loudly.The individual would come up on our table with the broom where we would have to lift our feet due to the broom being taken under our feet. He was also talking to himself; of which, we didn’t care until it was vocalized quite loud right beside us. This, would interfere in our conversation(s). He made it a point to stay & clean right next to us. Very distracting. This is why I gave the “Atmosphere,”three stars.

To sum up our visit, the meals came out suitable, even with the incorrect order number; of course, fresh.The distraction of the employee in the seating area was a bit hindering. I wouldn’t expect it any other way from Culver’s. All-in-all, the meet & great, the food turned out good & a clean Culver’s made an excellent evening. I would highly recommend the DeForest Culver’s. Enjoy your meal(s) :)”
